Nerfing the heist payouts by about 30% and making the new heist a big paywall is the worst take ive seen. Not worth playing GTA online, just stick to the story and be done with it. There is little to no hope left for GTA6... probably will be a huge cashgrab without a soul.

Nerfed every heist into the ground, trying to force players to either buy shark cards and play this trash like it's their full time job.

Great story, terrible online. It's fun with friends, but public sessions are usually toxic and the grind gets tedious

The new Kortz Center Heist is good in concept but executed poorly. A heist in an art museum is a great idea and the stealth concepts they tried to implement were great ideas, but unfortunately Rockstar has no concept of how to properly program a stealth mission. Since the Diamond Casino heist we have seen time and time again Rockstar try to implement stealth into their gameplay but fail to implement it in a fun and engaging way. The Kortz Center Heist is no different: *Guards can hear footsteps and stun gun shots from the second floor when you're on the first floor *Guards can see bodies thru walls. *The alarm will randomly go off in the sewers *They added a laser room that you must covertly maneuver thru yet did nothing to improve the janky mobility of your character or improve the controls, you're given a crouch whose animation is very slow and a useless and imprecise hop *The Stealth Annihilator escape is bugged as the AI is in control of the chopper but is prone to getting spotted by the cops despite being a stealth helicopter, tends to crash at the end and lands without deploying its wheels *The investment to opt into the heist is ridiculously high. You need a mansion ($11,500,000 cost) plus add an art studio ($4,700,000) totaling $16,000,000 just to start a heist. An expensive pay wall. *The initial pay of the heist is $2,000,000 with subsequent repeats drastically reducing the payout to $400K *Other heists in the game got their pay reduced by 30-40% and subjected to weekly bonuses. You get your first heist paid in full with a bonus but repeats of the heist in the same week get their pay cut. *The game has yet to fully deal with modders and God mode players yet actively ban and reset anyone performing money glitches. In short, this update feels like it wasn't even play tested by Rockstar as it has a lot of buggy issues with the new heist and seems to even stutter on occasion when it didn't prior to the update. As a long time player of GTAO I am extremely disappointed and feel this update is geared towards increasing their microtransactions aka shark card sales.

I hate GTA Online due to the update at 14/07/2026 ruined grinding and potentially the new heist is just a part of milking GTA Online and not recommended to play GTA Online as griefers and modders are ready to ruin your precious day when you are about to sell your crates or have fun. but the storyline is GOAT. just focus on playing the storyline with some mods to have fun.
