Gotham Knights

This is what happens when you allow a company like Sweet Baby Inc to write your games story. A financial flop, narrative flop, even the gameplay is a flop. No full review is needed or disserved for this horrible downgrade and failure of a game, DEI is written all over. I don't need to type much words either to save you from spending money on this hazard to be avoided. Nay simply take a look at all the Arkham games compared to this and that's the only comparison you need. The actions speak for themselves louder than any words.

This game gives the player much more interesting story and gameplay than it's given credit for. Personally, as I've grown up with the arkham games and the having played Spiderman, I find that the two styles merge beautifully. Don't just take my word for it, though, play it for yourself and see if you like it!

Now I'm playing this on a regular PC. So for those who have regular PCs , expect a lot of game lag. At some point, I'm going to get a gaming PC for quality and performance improvements of this game and many more. I played this before playing the Arkhamverse, and I really enjoyed this. Four characters each having unique abilities, and there are countless ways to play this. So I apologize for doubting this game.

If you go in expecting an Arkham game you will be disappointed if you go in expecting a superhero game in gotham where you don't play as batman you will have a good time. combat is pretty nice traversal does feel a little stiff story is pretty good i dont have any bugs or performance issues but i have a pretty good computer so i cant guarantee the same for you. 6.8/10 get it on sale not for full price

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, how they manage to go from one of the greatest video game trilogies to this is beyond mind boggling. The combat is horrendous: it is slow, janky, and some mission design choices make it even more infuriating then it already was. Exploration is boring, and how gotham city feels less inspired in this game then Batman origins another WB Montreal game that was much better than this. Clearly WB wanted to make this there live service game as in addition to the multiplayer they have a crafting system that is completely unnecessary with colored items that have no interesting properties. Why they decided to make a looter shooter in kill the justice league after this is insane. The only redeeming quality of this game is the dialogue between the batfam otherwise this is a cash grab on one of the greatest franchises of all time. DO NOT BUY THIS AT FULL PRICE.

Story is straight out of a bad Netflix show, but the combat is satisfying. If you don't go in with the Arkham games in mind it can be a great Melee fighting game with okay ish loot system.
