The game has a good foundation and concept but one of the problem I see is obtaining scrolls for equipment, weapons, and potions. Also the other flaw is the stamina required to explore on the map. That doesnt make any sense. It honestly shouldnt have a limitation considering you wont be playing with other players. The caravan cart timer is a little asurd in a offline game. It has alot of potential and I see this game going far but overall game play and content needs to be improved.
I really want to leave a good review for this game. I played it on mobile years ago and loved it. After getting a new phone I noticed that the game was no longer offered in the googleplay store. I was excited to see it was now on steam. Sure, the playstore game was free but I was happy to shell out $10 for the game on PC. The game is a fun little casual game where you play a little goblin who's dream is to have his own adventuring shop. Unfortunately you're too puny to do much fighting so must hire mercenaries to fight for you. Most of the game is spent either in your shop upgrading, expanding it in some way, catching shoplifters, promoting merchandise, getting new mercenaries, crafting or out in the world map doing overland dungeons harvesting as your minions do the fighting for you. It's a cute little game, the music is catchy, art assets are cute, sound effects adorable. Goblin flavor text is quite funny when he's in his store. I truly want to give this game a thumbs up, but I can't play it for long. For whatever reason this game just burns through my computer. (Running on an i7-8700 and a 1080 graphics card, 16G ram) Graphic intensive games I can play with no issue. This one however is a monster. Within about 20 seconds of launching the game I can watch the temps on my CPU and graphics card go bananas and raise about 30 degrees. CPU and disk useage also goes haywire. I should not have to crank my fan speed up for a simple game like this when I don't have to on say Skyrim, The Division or any graphically superior game. Worrying yet is the sound coming from my computer when I go to the overland map. It only happens on the overland map and only in this game. I don't even know how to describe it, it's loud, whirling, whining and worrying. I can only imagine it's my harddrive as it's not my fans. I love this game, I'd love to play more of it, but this is nuts. I've not seen many updates from the Dev in about a year, so I'm assuming the game isn't supported anymore? I'll hold on to the hope that one day this issue gets fixed or the game optimized because I truly think it's a great game. Alternatively I wait for it's return on googleplay.
i got a refund after finding out the game is free on android? I dont mind paying the 66 HKD but at least let me link up the accounts if i do.
This game is a joke. I payed 15 hours offline and there is no progress. The territory: The territory is always the same. Territory 1 or territory 12. It makes no difference. So it is always the same, endless boring slow grind. The shop: I am on level 30. I leveled up my epic weapon chance 10 times. Every time a get a 0.5% higher chance creating a epic weapon. Progress after 15 hours: In 15 hours I created 30 epic weapons. This means 1,5 more epic weapon every 15 hours. I leveld up my chests discorery 10 times. Every time a get a 1% higher chance discovering chests. I discoverd 75 normal chests and 34 magic, 28 rare and 13 epic chests in 15 hours. Progress after 15 hours: If I play another 15 hours I will geht 3 magic, 3 rare and 1 epic chests more. I leveled up my repair 10 times. Every time I get a 1% improvement. Progress after 15 hours: I loose 10% less durability reapiring an item. So, my progress after 15 hours: 1,5 more epic weapon every 15 hours. 7 more chests every 15 hours. 10% less durability loss when repairing an item. There is slow grind and there is stupid. I was stupid to play this game so long.
I tried to get into this game, but ultimately put it away. The premise is that you are a shopkeeper for the monsters who fight humans. You progress in experience points not by fighting but by shop keeping. You can designate VIPs to do the fighting for you when you collect resources to craft items for your shop. I like this premise, but there are several things about the game I don't like. Progressing through human territory means discovering new materials and new crafting recipes. But the rate of discovery outpaces the slow rate of craft mastery. By the time I've mastered crafting level 2 weapons/armor/potions, I'm already on level 4 materials in the human world. Obtaining mastery of crafting is a big grind. You can hire help that can ring up purchases, solicit customers, and repair gear. However, no matter the skill level, these hires will fall asleep on the job, causing irate customers. The nearby town has various activities, but none of them have any explanation. I never figured out how to use the stock market or the lottery game. The jobs on offer provide too little reward for the tedious tasks listed. Providing a weapon upgrade station requires you to stock the upgrade materials, not the monsters. And it will vastly deplete the materials you need to craft items. Providing an enchantment station requires you to stock the enchantment materials, which accrue at a very slow rate. It is difficult to single out specific customers in the shop, given that they tend to stand at the same spot in front of an armor/weapon/potion display. It would be better if they staggered their positions left/right. The game will frequently tie up the CPU to the point where it cannot process mouse movement or clicks. This happens at the worst times: attempting to get rid of shoplifters/angry customers, selecting the barrels with rubies on the daily bonus screen, getting away from humans, etc. So, I cannot recommend this game.
Awful tutorial. Slow gameplay.
A hidden Gem
This little game caught me off guard to be honest. I started to play this game and it instantly got to me. The Business simulation is so simple and so addictive. I love it. :) I can recommend this game.
