Punch Club

I bought the game even though there are so many bad reviews, because it look fun. It was fun, for the first 1-2 hours, after that, the game became so grindy with the daily stats loss. I still try to play through till the very end of the game, and then I encounter the bugs with Dark Fist DLC, that make it unplayable (no icons on the map, cannot go anywhere). Apparently this is a well-known bug that the devs have no intention of fixing after so many years. This is the breaking point. Cleary, the devs have no care for their game, and they won't listen to feedbacks, so I just write this to warn anyone that want to give this glorified garbage dump a chance.

Игра сплошной фан-сервис для фанатов 90-ых. То есть фильмов, игр и культуры, в основном голливудщины. Годно, интересно, хоть и к концу игру уже гринд очевидный, но тут хотя бы понимаю, что это из-за самой спецификации игры. На этом фоне захотелось поиграть/купить Gladiator Guild Manager. Супер-топ, спасибо Humble Bundle.

Forces you to walk around screens when it should just be a menu. Makes you listen to the flavor text that doesn't matter to the game at all. Constantly does the mobile game 'you must click here' and cant do anything else nonsense.

after about 2 hours of playing the stat loss gets very annoying. if your looking for a chill game to relax to this is not it.

Este jogo não é para mim. Eu comprei na expectativa de ter um game "arcade" de luta com um progresso e história bacanas, mas o que eu senti jogando pouco (pouco porque não tive mais vontade de continuar jogando), foi o ciclo de trabalhar, comer, treinar e dormir se tornando muito repetitivo, fora que os atributos do personagem diminuem com o tempo (diminuem com outras coisas também), obrigando você a treinar toda hora só para apenas MANTER os pontos de força, agilidade e resistência. Eu descrevendo assim, parece até vida real kkkkkkkkkk Olha, mas boa parte da minha experiência no jogo deixou de parecer uma evolução e passou a ser uma luta para recuperar o que foi perdido, tornando a progressão repetitiva e mais cansativa do que recompensadora. Não gostei, e como eu disse, não é para mim.

Honestly really fun and addictive, but the stat decay is infuriating I never play games in this genre, and I really enjoyed it, despite some frustration. Very fast-paced and satisfying to play but jesus christ i am tired of buying pizza and meat for $400000 each

ADDENDUM: DO NOT PURCHASE. As is the case with every single tinybuild game, this game is abandonware filled with gamebreaking bugs that the devs addressed years, sometimes decades ago and have no intention of ever remedying. This and every TinyBuild game are a waste of your money if you value your time. Because they do not. This game is indisputable smoking garbage when played at "normal" difficulty, both in balance terms and enjoyability. But is surprisingly decent when played on the "too easy" (because we're children and should be talked down to if we don't want to try and grind for dopamine hits like this is a "social media exploitation"- simulator). Bonus points for letting me pet the cat. But minus points for the unavoidable bad that happens and even further points taken away for the cliche pointless bits what come later. Additionally: even when playing on normal, achievements don't work, so there is literally no reason to ever play this if you are wanting a game completion and to maintain a semblance of sanity. Only play if you want the story for the second game. After Graveyard Keeper, I should expect buggy messes with fairly decent stories from this studio, but that is egg on my face. 2/10

O ÁPICE DA LUTA! Punch Club é excelente para fãs de luta, você basicamente vive a vida de um lutador, trabalhando, treinando, comendo, dormindo e etc. Esse jogo está recheado de referências, tanto de filmes, como jogos e celebridades. Platinei com praticamente 30 horas, em 3 runs, e foi uma experiência incrível, totalmente recomendado.

I really wanted to like this game, but my experience echoes the others here. Its just grindy. Because its autocombat, there is no break from the grind. No action. I am also going to uninstall this and take 2 off my wishlist like that other review I read said. There is some click map issue affecting my game, so I cant always cancel actions when I want to or go to a location. I dont like the forced missions. I dont like the npc dialog spam holding me up.
