Chilled building experience. Still room for some improvement in things like prioritisation but good fun and plenty of expansion possibilities
I'm really into finnish mythology and like the idea. I've played the game over couple of bigger updates and it has been amazing. I've spent hours on it, and can just loose myself into the world. Regarding updates, I'd hope somekind of roadmap of the updates and projected timeline, like this update is coming on first half of 2026 or something.
Overall I like this game and wish all the best for the developer. It feels fairly good to play which is the best thing I can say about any game. Unfortunately the current cost of entry is that the game keeps crashing randomly. Definitely will keep eyes on this game.
Ill give it a thumbs up but this game really should still be early access. I like the art style and the use Finnish mythology, I love the focus on output instead of input with the recourse management and I like the detail of some of the sub-systems in the game. That being said, lots of the reason I love it are marred by small but annoying oversights that don't feel like features of a full release game. Ill definitely come back tot he game as it updates.
Great game, really fun. It treads the fine line between cosy and challenging. Although the Tutorial isn't that great, I found it fairly intuitive to understand. I've been enjoying myself so far and look forward to many further hours! P.s, You can change your Goblin's skin and hair colour!
I'm really enjoying this. It's a settlement builder with a strong Finnish flavor. Goblins have escaped the underworld and are setting up a village to live in. You build houses, research technologies, hold feasts once a season, and summon spirits to help you with all the above. The art is pleasant and the terrain is distinctively Scandinavian. The music is reminiscent of Sibelius: haunting, without ever quite resolving. All of the technologies come with flavor text from historical authors, many from the Kalevala.
✔️ Goblins autonomi: Ogni goblin ha comportamenti emergenti e reagisce all’ambiente. ✔️ Folklore finlandese: Spiriti, death-folk, sciamanesimo e riferimenti al Kalevala arricchiscono l’atmosfera. ✔️ Tech tree dedicato: Una progressione tecnologica chiara e ispirata ai grandi classici. ✔️ Roadmap trasparente: Gli sviluppatori pubblicano devlog frequenti e aggiornamenti costanti.
💸Goblin Camp è un Pay to win?
Assolutamente NO.
Loads of charm and I like the focus on declarative rather than imperative game design. But it seems to early for a full release, lots of little UI things that needs fixing, every other in game year I crash to desktop. I think there should be more options for crop rotation automation considering the games focus on soil fertility. The game should probably also do something more enemies and combat rather than just the occasional raid. Buy if you want to support the journey, keep an eye on it otherwise.
A damn solid city builder game, it has some elements that i did not expect to be this fleshed out and impressive for an indie game which is really nice to see. Here are some examples: - The goblins can decide on their own that if they need wood they chop it down close to the building that needs the material and then drag it the minimum distance. - The fields for food has a slider to set how much you want to plant for seed and how much for food each year. - The sacrifice mechanic makes it rewarding to craft certain items and lets you decide how much you want to progress each year in tech making it rewarding to do good and expand your camp. And many more small things add upp to make a realy good game. Also unlike some other similar games there are some game design decisions made to automate a lot of the nonsense decisions you have to make for the camp which just games it flow so much better then other games. Cudos to the devs for focusing on that.
Good goblins!
