Feels a bit under cooked needs more refinement and options, More challenge would be nice. Don't see any reason to finish tech tree. ALSO tech tree points take way to long to get. Spent 12 in game years to just almost get half way. Perhaps more will come out with updates past 1.0
Saw a clip on tiktok, thought it would be a cool way to support a small team, bought the game. played a little, wanted more content to sink my teeth in. still no content, game is abandoned, videos taken down. it is a total cash grab. not worth it
Having played a few hours now. This game is oddly compelling in a lot of good ways. Feels more god game ish then most city builders. I really like it!
The game is nice and has potential, but honestly for me this is not yet a full game. It lacks progress (or the feel of progress), real ennemies, hunt spots/gatherer, goals (we can imagine attacking human colonies or something? A boss). I'm barely at half the tech tree but I feel like I don't see anything different since quite some time. Progression is quite slow, which isn't necessarily bad, but here I don't see new content or challenges pushing me to improve. That said the game has a nice feel to it, and as I said, it's got potential. However it lacks many things yet.
Fun so far had to drag myself away from the camp - reminds me of Banished but less punishing. It's Time to get serious about Turnip farming.
Dwarves give goblins a bad name, they are just trying to survive
Lovely game. Love the Finnish mythology tie ins with everything. Really excited to watch this game grow.
It's EARLY ACCESS so you can only play the game so far. I bought it for over 50% off and that was a good price for what it is at this point. It's frustrating because you can't direct the Goblins, only overload them with work. CONS: -No priority settings -All goblins have ADHD.... -No matter how much food I have, they won't eat -The tech tree doesn't properly explain what the heck I'm unlocking -Goblins are unhappy no matter what you do, it's unbalanced right now.
I'm really enjoying this. It's a settlement builder with a strong Finnish flavor. Goblins have escaped the underworld and are setting up a village to live in. You build houses, research technologies, hold feasts once a season, and summon spirits to help you with all the above. The art is pleasant and the terrain is distinctively Scandinavian. The music is reminiscent of Sibelius: haunting, without ever quite resolving. All of the technologies come with flavor text from historical authors, many from the Kalevala.
It took just 15 hours mainly playing in fast forward to complete the technology tree. The enemies were never a real threat so the game was hardly a challenge with no ending. There is an element of magic that has little effect to the overall game. In comparison, this is a poor copy of 'Dawn of Man'.
