Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Warning: Broken Game! This game has design/implementation defects that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game does not run under recent builds of Windows 10/11, and crashes to the desktop immediately upon trying to launch.
"Helicopter Simulator 2014: Search and Rescue" is an older game from 2014. It's also broken, as mentioned. The developer is fully aware the game doesn't work, and glibly posted a thread containing some possible fixes (which don't work). Yeah, they have time to demand gamers be the ones to fix the problem in their faulty game but they can't be bothered fixing it properly or removing it from Steam. They know it's broke but they are still trying to scam gamers into buying it! This wasn't even a good game when it worked... it looks like a flight sim but it's not, it's much worse... it's like a crap ripoff of Farming Simulator 2013 except with badly done helicopter mechanics. "Helicopter Simulator 2014: Search and Rescue" didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for flying low to the ground for a bit, trivial to get, but less than 21 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in an unplayable and broken state. It's the responsibility of the developer to maintain their product, ensure it runs on all modern PCs, or if they determine there's defects and the game doesn't work, they should remove it from sale instead of misleadingly trying to scam gamers into buying knowingly defective products. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, not just because it's a direct and intentional attempt to scam people, but because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the almost comically optimistic (if it wasn't so sad) price of $7 USD for a game they know is broken. Don't give it to them.

Game started with a dark screen, I had to change all the settings That helped What was the problem I did not understand...
This is actually a very good game. Don't buy it at full price, but it is never near as bad as people review it. For under 1 dollar it is decent entertainment, lots of levels and achievements to play every once in a while. It sometimes bugs when unloading injured at the hospital, but nothing too critical to ditch the whole game. Would totally recommend at a good discount.
Um excelente passa-tempo.... só precisa melhorar um pouco mais as câmeras externas!
Is this game any good? Yes and no. It’s great as an old-school arcade rescue sim, but not if you expect it to be a realistic helicopter simulator. To enjoy this game, you need to play by its rules. For example, in the first mission, I picked up two pilots from a plane crash by landing next to them, but the game insisted I use the rope instead. If you can overlook those quirks, you’ll be fine playing this game. It has controller support, though not in the office menu, it takes affect on missions. While flying, the Y and B buttons activate hover mode, which is essential for rescuing people. The start button turns the engine on and off, and the select button restarts the mission. The rope automatically drops when you’re close enough. Hope this helps anyone wanting to take a crack at this game!

This is a rare case that I disagree with negative reviews, this is a simple helicopter game with simplified flight controls. The title is misleading though...
