I wanted to like this VN but it's just not fun to read, not to mention the base game without any dlcs is short and empty.

For me personally, the main positive of this VN was it simply being a fun and interactive way to learn more about Japan. There is a wide variety of different locations and areas you can visit, and the tour girls have lots of information to share about culture, traditions, history, etc. There is also, unsurprisingly, a romantic component to the game as well, but it is largely mild and simple/cute. As for downsides, the MC is basically a really stereotypical weeb and a lot of his dialogue is pretty cringe tbh. Also, the DLC implemention is rather odd and slightly confusing. The "2016 version" really should have just been an update to the game itself and not some seperate thing imo.
