I've played thousands of games, and this is my favorite. Right now the steam version isn't loading past the title menu. I miss playing this, please repair your masterpiece.
Interesting visual and auditory styled exploration game that's good to have in the background during a trip. Would love to see what the devs have been working on since! [Have more hours on PS3...]
Seems like a neat game, don't recommend it though. Can't turn the music down. Only a Master Volume slider in the options. I'm extremely unsatisfied so far with the ambient sound levels in comparison to the music, at the start it was lovely then I got ear blasted by 90% highs. Speaking of, the music is primarily; from what I've heard, extremely high notes. I don't want to mute the game and just walk around in silence, and I can't be bothered to just put on an ambient YouTube video for sound. This should be a base game function. I considered deleting the music files from the folders or editing the volume to be less prominent but, that seems way too tedious. My ears hurt playing this. Not sure why a simple Music and Ambience volume slider isn't included in the options. That's basic video games these days. I wouldn't play it if you have ears sensitive to certain frequencies, I would steer clear until further notice. Huge shame.
The best first person shooter I've ever played.
Amazing high vibrational game. Like pouring warm soup on your soul. Or like getting into a bathtub of beautiful soup. It's like eating a bowl of beautiful soup. The soundtrack is gorgeous and reactive, the visuals are perfectly minimal but also perfectly tuned, and the colors are wonderful. I've sat down with Proteus multiple times and still discover new surprises each time. This game feels so observational- it really does mirror the experience of taking a walk in the real world in a way that feels so aspirational as an artist and so engaging as a player.
this gmae is so muchn fun to play high

This game was one of the very few I vividly remember playing at a really, really young age. I decided to play it again now that I'm turning 18 tomorrow as of writing this review. It's not a very long game and there isn't much to do other than walk around and chase little critters, but it's simple, and has its own unique charm and feel that no game old or new has. Great experience.
Neat little experience if want to walk around while looking at aesthetically pleasing pixels. That being said, I cannot say it is worth the price tag nowadays.
There doesn't seem to be anything to do other than walk around the island, and there's really not much to see.
