Amazing game with an awesome and caring dev!
A simply designed, but noticeably harder turn-based dungeon crawler. You'll end up waiting turns to regain health, or need to calculate if you'll use certain foods next turn. Wish it had more recent updates, still see bugs and your gear will never feel like its enough.
Fun, simple, and good for a few hours — well worth 5€
Great nostalgic 90's style dungeon crawler. Miss games like these! Great game for the price. Feels like a turn based 'Delver'.
super fun wish it had a loop mode or a bit more levles but other than that it good ^^
It was apparently obvious, that the game left Early Access without really being finished not polished. Somebody had to cut to the end asap and put everything together in a rush. This is how it feels. - The game misses important information about buffs and statuses (e.g what the hell is Draining?) - Random generation is crazy. The game has starvation mechanic and didn't give me a single food for 4 levels straight. Sometimes you get +3 mace with freezing on the first floor. Sometimes you got to stick with basic dagger for 3 floors. - Every class is basically the same. Not much changes with a playstyle and the perks are same for everyone. Since the dodge build doesnt work (tried it multiple times), you end up playing every run with every class with one handed weapon + shield and bow on second slot. - Some items and statuses are plain stupid: e.g War Axe or Random Status Perk. - There is no plot or even any kind of lore. You finish the game when you find a sword. This is when you learn that it was your goal. - Some perks doesn't work. E.g the Mage hat that makes wands spawn more. Two times I had that perk as 1st or 2nd and still didnt face a single wand for entire run. - The final boss can be cheesed with poison wand. This and a bow are the only ways to finish it. Because if you want to go meele, you got to have insane amount of food (guess what - RNG). It's not the bad design or bad decisions. It's because the game has been released in a rush and probably abandoned. The music, aesthetics and feeling is fine. This comes from a person that finished nearly every classic dungeon crawler available. It could be a nice game. It really could. But it's not.
This game is great. The mechanics are good and the play stile doesn't seem to be unfair. However i did experience that my progress earlier was taken away from me as the other classes i had unlocked before was gone? I mean could be the updates but still i earn those and is it me or was there more than just 3 characters before? I swore that i had more than just this. The updates are cool and all but don't delete my progress next time. Really enjoy the game play and keep it up. :)
The type of game you just want MORE from. It's simple, it's easy to pick up.
Very charming little dungeon crawler.
A nice time for some quick runs. Super worth the price https://youtu.be/L8a2PXk2bL8
