Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Balance the weight of the GIGASWORD, battling between brain and brawn in this action-puzzle metroidvania where the might of the sword will determine all. As tensions rise in Thoenhart, a city plagued by famine and disease, the humans within set their hopes on a final solution: invade the ancient tower Nestrium, slay the Nocturne, and take the God Crystal, Gnosis, for themselves.
Said to grant prosperity to those who wield it, Gnosis has been long sought after by humanity for generations. However, upon raiding its resting place, the disturbance of this ancient power awakens an evil capable of destroying the very fabric of reality . Can Ezra reach the top of the Nestrium in time to stop this cataclysm, or will humanity’s ignorance lead the world to its doom?
Balance the Weight - The sword may be perfect for combat but you’ll find slaying isn’t its only use. Unlock doors, weigh down pressure plates, and push blocks as you ground your blade, traversing by foot, relieving yourself momentarily, the weight of the blade.
Olden Secrets - With cataclysm at the doorstep, unearth the twisting forgotten halls of the Nestrium. Hidden secrets lurk behind every nook, cranny, and hole in the wall, with only you to discover the wealth that lies within.
Curb Demonic Ruination - Hack, slash, and dodge through ruthless demons, corrupted bosses, and bloodlusting fiends landing the killing blow, sending them back to the underworld.
Adapt, Innovate, Evolve - As you’re forced through nefarious traps, deathly drops, and seemingly invincible foes, discover new abilities to aid in your journey such as Thunder Bolts, Crawling Sparks, Grappling Hooks, and much more.
For Famine and Family - Humans are on death's front door and they curse the heavens, looking to the Nestrium for their salvation. The God Crystal, Gnosis, safeguarded by the Nocturne is a chance at prosperity. It’s up to Ezra to keep the balance… and bring peace to all!

Reviews
Not recommended. The last ten minutes of gameplay abandons all the signaling given to the player (you have to press Y to plunge the sword into Valdor or whoever), and breaks the game entirely (you move sloppily, can't pick up the sword, and only d-pad inputs work for the room with the green crystal). I had better things to do with 30+ hours of my life. I got around 20 actual game-hours out of this game. Strongly recommend against this game; the last ten minutes are bad enough to burn all the goodwill built over the rest of the game.
worst controls on a metroidvania game the pigeon time section at the end made me rage quit not for steamdeck !!

Started out good but the map got worthless, stupid game.
first of all: there's 2 places ive had the game crash 1: the final boss if you die too many times (i was doing the no HP upgrades achievement) 2: in Northern Spire with the two skull beamers, if you come from the left to the right side and pull the lever while it's firing the game will freeze and crash! with that outta the way... i really liked this game, you have done a dang solid job with it, HOWEVER the friggin astral owl puzzles have too short timer,,,, and there's a bit too few save rooms in High Walls... apart from this i had a very good time with this game! so thanks! i hope to see a part II or something down the road <3 for anyone looking to pick this up, the No HP Upgrades achievement is quite rough, but it's doable! just trust in yourself, your skills and your GIGASWORD! PS: get the Healing and Sword Beam abilities ASAP! they help tremendously!
Holy crap. The fact this was made by ONE DUDE is mindboggling. Save some talent for the rest of us, bro. Outstanding game, good puzzles, tons of secrets. My ONLY complaints were even with fast travel points, it still feels slow to backtrack as its a fairly plodding game and the map colors showing which area a map exited to were very hard to distinguish sometimes. Grade: A+ Grade for a game made by one overly talented maniac: A++++
Gigasword is a very well made Metroidvania that uses its unique mechanics nicely and has great artistic direction. I played the demo and ended up buying it that same day. The art of a game is often a hook for me and it is what really made me check out the demo for this game. It has a very nice distinction between the different arias with different color pallets and music to really catch the vibe of each. The background work is amazing to look at with very well done architecture and statues scattered all throughout the game and the sprite work is awesome with some monster designs being top tear for me. Combat and movement are smooth for the most part and really work well together as you cleave through the monsters. I was not expecting to get as many movement and combat abilities as you do in this and I really ended up liking them all. The only combat ability I ended up mostly ignoring was the rage mode that made you deal more damage but even it got some use near the end of the game for me. The grappling hook was a bit finicky sometimes but worked well enough and felt satisfying when I got the flow of it working for me. This game felt more puzzley than combaty which was perfectly fine due to the puzzles being good overall. Many of them were quite simple but still fun to do and none of them really felt overly hard either. My own stupidity did make some of them take far longer than they needed to but that is on me and my brain. This game got me hooked very fast and I loved playing through it.The solo developer is frequently putting out updates to smooth out gameplay further and add things based on community feedback such as the fast travel system. This game may even just be better on a replay due to how active they are and I very much recommend playing this lovely Metroidvania.
10/10 Great everything! I had to really get used to the heft and uses for the sword. Puzzles were solvable with patience, but not over challenging. Good for a long play, or short batches here and there. Longer then I expected. I really enjoyed It. Sequel when?
Takes a while to get going, and when it does the puzzles are the real star of the show, but they aren't that great. I can see why reviews are all over the place with this game.
