DeepStates [VR]

[th]VR🥽[/th]

Nota: 6/10

🎮🌵Más reseñas en mi mentor🌵🎮

If you like "Conscious Existence - A Journey Within" (I did!) and expect more from of the same developers, your be disappointed. This is so unimaginative with simple 360 bland landscapes you have limited movement in. Then you are told to close your eyes and listen/feel the sound and music! Having your eyes closed and flashing images on them, I found most uncomfortable. Save your money, sit in a dark room with your meditation music, close your eyes and get someone to flash a torch in your eyes, enjoy that!?
This is an amazing tool, experience, work of art. I had serious doubts that I could be meditative with tiny TVs strapped to my face, but the use of sound, sights, lights, and atmosphere to engage as many senses as possible and pull you in is incredibly effective. I really appreciate what you've accomplished. Thanks for this.
It's an amazing experience! Needs more content though.
One of the best parts of pcvr is looking at cool things in VR. This is that. I got this because I loved “conscious existence” by the same developer. I probably haven’t used it for everything it has to offer, but being able to sit in and control surreal and realistic environments is worth it. Half-life Alyx aside, there are very few unique VR experiences that looks this good.
Tried it on a 1070. Minimum requirements is a RTX 2080. I'm a sucker for punishment. Nevertheless, a very unique experience. FYI to the dev; there was no sound for some reason. 9/10
I'm a big of Realms of Flow, so when I saw this was by the same developer i had to get it. I saw the last developer update stating that he wasn't going to work on it any more as this kind of 3D virtual world isn't really what he wants to do. So I was anticipating that this would be OK, but less impressive than Realms of Flow. I was wrong! This one is absolutely astonishing. The different environments aren't very big (though some have more in them than others) and there isn't a vast amount to do in most of them (though the hookah from Realms of Flow makes a welcome appearance in them all). But the environments are incredibly well done. I think they're the most convincing environments I've seen in VR. Even the sand looks completely real. The lighting effects, and different times of day/night in some of them, are extremely well done as well. It all runs very smoothly on my 3090. The guided meditation aspect of the app, and the controls, are rather confusingly done, but personally I don't really use those much. It's enough just to sit and enjoy the environments. This app certainly deserves to be better known.
Let's be honest, there are hundreds of meditative/dreamlike/trippy-esque titles scattered all throughout Steam. HOWEVER. This game is the real deal. I'm running this on an RTX 4090 and let me tell you, this game REALLY affected me in positive ways. The background music isn't too overpowering and suits each scene extremely well. I found myself in awe just staring up or around each scene as it opened (with many rooms beginning to slowly light up). It's so zen and breathtaking at the same time. I RARELY leave reviews, but this was the game I was looking for, which is currently a couple of bucks. You cannot beat that. Seriously blown away, so kudos to the devs on this masterpiece. (Ignore the playtime, as I mostly play this offline)
