Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart

My non gamer girlfriend loves this game, and my gamer brother and my friend both also had fun. We all really liked playing this game. It is targeted and accessible for kids, but is really fun also as a local multiplayer party game for us grownups on Hard settings. One reviewer said it crashed and lagged when played by 4 local players. Not our experience. We had fun and no bugs or crashes to report. The only minus I see is that this game is very overpriced. Get it in a bundle or discounted, it's IMO worth max 10 $ / 10 EUR or less. Do not buy it at full price. Ultimately, if you can get it for cheap - I RECOMMEND!

surprised by how much i liked this. its definitely not worth $40, but its bundled and on sale frequently. much more for small children than mario kart. incredibly basic with no hop but a drift boost that you can really abuse. the graphics are actually really cool, but the dino racers look like ass. the rat thing is cool as ♥♥♥♥, though. just 15 tracks that are mostly the same. theres a few that are really fun, though, like the one thats just going up around a volcano in a spiral. good for an hour of kart action, or if youve got really little kids that might get overwhelmed by mario kart

Recomiendo de primero que lo agarren en oferta 23 dolares se me hace algo elevado, partiendo de ahí podría decir que es un juego que podrías jugar con amigos sin ningún problema incluso con amigos que no suelen jugar ya que no tiene el gran descontrol en los carros, prácticamente se manejan igual y para las curvas basta con girar un poco. Contras: -Pocas pistas (15 aprox) -La música se siente algo faltante -Durante lo que jugué no conseguí ningún premio de turbo (No que recuerde) Le daría mas emoción si los tuviera En resumen comprarlo en oferta si vas a jugar con amigos o te gusta probar juegos de carreras.

Da pro gasto. O gráfico é estranho, e de uma forma geral o jogo é bem tosco. A jogabilidade é divertida na maioria dos mapas, especialmente se for Coop. Tem alguns recursos de atalhos bem diversificados e interessantes, porém, alguns mapas são meio bugados e o impulso de derrapagem não funciona direito, além do kart se mover pro lado sozinho sem você dar o comando (Obs: com o "piloto automático" Desligado). Tem pouco conteúdo, e depois de completar 100% do jogo, só resta jogar For Fun, quando há outros jogos de Kart melhores que esse. Os Dinos desse jogo são ESBUGALHADOS, CABEÇUDOS, BURR0S e SEM SENSO DE HUMOR. Conclusão: Vale a pena comprar em uma boa promoção, especialmente se você curtiu outros jogos de Kart da Steam.

This is basically a (well done) dino-themed re-skin of the PAW Patrol: Grand Prix game from the same publisher, with new but similar tracks. The only difference is no paw treats to collect for boosts and less emphasis on enraging abilities, so I actually prefer this one. If you know that and expect a very easy game for children aged around 5, and got it for cheap, you will be happy with the purchase. My 5 year old son likes it a lot, it's a great introduction to learn driving controls and to get used to holding the controller, and if you have 2 controllers you can play together, which is very nice. If you payed fullprize and bought it for yourself, you will be disappointed by the very simple controls that require no skill whatsoever, the simple tracks, and the repetitive gameplay.

Technically I could play more to unlock character skins and such, but I'm happy with having unlocked all the characters and the dialogs before each race feel too simple to be enjoyable to me, so I skipped them. I'll call it "finished" as I've played through what little story there is. Given I'm not interested in multiplayer and the AI opponents are mostly incredibly dumb, my playthrough lasted slightly less than 1.5 hours, so if the game doesn't draw you in enough to be a completionist about it or if it's not a purchase for a really small kid, wait for a deep sale to justify its short charm. + I love the game's presentation, visuals and animation - it's inviting and fun and simple enough to work. + I also love the voices of the characters because they mostly sound like actual young kids having fun - all the happy or "uh oh" cries during a race are so wholesome. - Except for the rodent: his laugh is downright diabolical. O.O - There's next to no story and only 2 characters out of 8 ever talk with more than race grunts and even then each race track gets a max of maybe 5 lines and that's it - 5 lines in total, not per character. + The music can be repetitive if you binge the game, but it's also delightfully light and lighthearted - it's not blood pumping like in some other race games, but it does convey that sense of adventure and fun the kids are having, so it lands very well and compliments the overall atmosphere. - You can remap the keys, but after I put the steering keys to WASD instead of the arrow keys, the starting boost minigame wouldn't register my button presses. Otherwise the steering worked and I didn't feel like I lost anything, having mostly played on normal difficulty, so it's a minor complaint at most. - I hated a section where the screen spins with your kart as you're chaotically flying through the air - no other "flying" sections had that distortion and felt awesome instead of jarring for it; but that one forced me to get through it with my eyes closed not to feel queasy and I don't have a history of getting sick over games. + As stated, all the other "flying" (well, more air current gliding) sections were great and made me smile and "Whee!" in my head, a nice feeling I haven't felt in a while. - The AI opponents are dumb and only hard mode felt remotely challenging, though sometimes a race win or come second will depend on luck and what power you've picked up or used at the right time or not. + There are few powers you can pick up during a race (about 5 in total) and while it's not Crash Tag Team racing for the PS2, they are all fun to use because of the voice acting. I personally like the roar best as an offensive power as it'll slow everyone it comes into contact with and the best defensive one is the bubble, as nothing can slow you down during that - be it a power from and opponent or a track environmental hazard. I felt getting on the speed boost arrows was more important than using powers, though. - I have no clue why this Dino Kart is priced at ... Holy pie, 40€! O.O - and its more activity-filled counterpart "Gigantosaurus The Game" is only 25€. For the amount of single player content, 20€ would be far too much for Dino Kart, the full price is plain robbery. So yeah, delightful for a little while, but clearly aimed at a rather young audience and grossly overpriced - no matter who you're getting it for, ABSOLUTELY wait for a VERY DEEP sale.

Easy enough for 4 and 6 year olds to enjoy but still plenty fun to hop in with them.
