Very cute and cozy! A lil' bit buggy on some parts (Ember got stuck a few times on expeditions), but its in EA, this is the common stuff you have to deal with in these gamestages. Ember is genuinely the cutest little girl ever, I love her and want to give her the best. Game is super well made and a nice game to bring out and play for a little bit. Perfect little steam deck candidate. A bit buggy, but its day one so glitches are to be expected (also made for some funny moments, e.g. Ember walking through walls like its nothing).

Pretty fun and cute game! The music and sounds create a nice calming feel to the experience, and the art is nice to look at. The progression of collecting resources to craft items while increasing your bond with Ember is enough to keep me enticed to continue trying to get to the end objective, slowly getting stronger with every day that passes. I will say you will need some patience for this game. Sometimes Ember will get distracted when you want her to do something, and you'll have to pay attention to her instead of just expecting her to follow your command immediately. There's a little jank with some invisible walls and some animations, but it's overall a fun experience!

Recommended if you enjoy cozy, pet, and adventure games. There's not much like this on the store

This reminds me of the Nintendogs days, but with many more elements and crafting. It is a very pretty game as well and I am excited to see the future of this game and its updates.

This game is so cute. It's kinda addicting as I want to keep exploring. I can tell so much care was put in this game. The game is also kinda zen. Relaxing. If you like exploring and pets, I def recommend this. I think this game can be played by all ages and have fun.

Super Chill Cozy Game! Ember is the goodest girl <3 I haven't played a game like this in a long time, I suppose the closest comparison would of course be something like Nintendogs, but the thing it reminds me of more is actually Pokemon Channel. Got your cute lil companion you can play/adventure with! And Ember def got some of that sass that reminds me of Pikachu in PC 🤭 Runs great and is heckin cozy, even just chillin listening to the music while petting the doggo is great ❤️‍🔥 Nice game to just kinda chill in if I dont have enough energy for something more intense.

So far super adorable, comfy gameplay, and all the pettins for Ember. Runs OKAY on Proton. Some glitches here and there with her pathing and progression getting softlocked, but reloading the save fixes it easily so far. I wish there was a true tutorial for Echo, and in general a guide on all of her commands. Echo probably shouldn't appear until the first instance it's used.

Yippee first review! This is a really chill cozy game, and so far I’m loving it. Even just the small parts I’ve experienced are great, and I’m looking forward to playing more while I recovery from surgery. Besides, any bugs or issues will probably be worked out by the time it’s out of early access, but I haven’t found any yet!

Ember is a precious darling. She isn't always at my side and I might need to call her or wait for her to catch up, but that's not a bad thing - it's fun to watch her explore, to see her go off ahead. I like when virtual pets feel like their own individuals, and while I haven't played that much yet, so far, Ember feels like that. The graphics are simple and pleasing. I put on high settings to see and they can be gorgeous. In the steam deck, they are simpler and run smooth and without stutters. Gameplay loop is simple and consists of taking care of Ember, collecting resources and recipes to craft things, and exploring to try to go further during explorations. It's not very complicated, it's relaxing, and fun to do. Low pressure in a stressful day, honestly, and can probably help relax a lot. Overall, I'm enjoying it, and I look forward to seeing how the game grows. It's got a subtle charm and I look forward to spending some time with Ember every day
