ghostrunner 1 better but still good to let off steam

I'll start off with this as my introduction for my Review. First of all I really want to like this game. I do like it in fact, as I think its quite charming of an sequel to an fantastic franchise. However I do have problems so I'll go through each one with some explanation as to why I dislike but not hate this game so much. Characters _____________ Personally when it comes to characters, this is where Ghost runner 2 really just sucks the life out of me Some characters in this game show like zero personality, I won't name names here of course to avoid spoilers for those who have not played Ghost Runners 1. Which you should play by the way as its way better than GR 2 When I booted up GR 2 I expected characters to feel "alive" and "responsive" to my presence not react with blank stares and soulless expressions of an pixel on an screen. Overall feel & setting _____________ Most likely my second biggest gripe is the feel of ghost runner 2. Movement in this sequel as compared to the precursor to GR 2 just feels sluggish and unlike the original Ghost runner Series Also not to mention like other people have in the past, is the fact this game is not very optimized what so ever like at all. the launch of this game was terrible for Performance on specs. Side Note: Ghost runners 2 seems to work well out of the box for Linux as of writing this, which for that I will give brownie points for it at least not crashing at all even once, so good job Devs I love it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I like? The art is quite simply put top of the line, I can't honestly say anything negative about the artwork or lore of this game. Quite simply amazing job the art team did for as it feels like an upgrade over Ghost runners 1 in a lot ways. and lastly, the content it self, the bread and butter or the eggs and toast or whatever you want to call it meat and potatoes? is it any good? The answer is I'm unsure actually, as of writing this review I only just recently reinstalled Ghost runners 2 as an couple of years ago around March 2023. I refunded the game due to poor performance, due to it being poorly optimized for windows 11. --------------------------- Final verdict? Artwork & Story: 8/10 I think it has potential, its not terrible but none of the story will make any sense at all if you've never played the OG Ghost runner. Music & Character: 10/10 for the music and 4/10 for the characters. Game play & Content: 5/10 Not terrible like many triple AAA games I've seen out there, I would say Ghost runner 2 has the art style and music to look and feel like ghost runner 2 but it lacks the soul of the Original and what made it so special. If the developers could recreate that magic in an bottle moment like the Original did. Filled to the brim with both good game play and art style not mention the personality so it feels both responsive and immersive then this game would easily be better not just mechanically but also in terms of overall satisfaction.

имба, имею две части первую прошел, и вторую буду проходить, очень бесит что одна жизнь, ну один хп, остальное прекрасно, советую
