RHYTHMKILL is a super-fast rhythm action game where your every kill strikes on the beat. Wall-run, dash, slide, and chain lightning-fast katana kills through neon-drenched arenas. Master the rhythm, maintain your momentum, and fight your way to the boss who imprisoned you.

I honest to god thought I would like this game but there's just way too much holding it back. 1st, I hate the way the models look. 2nd, half of the music in a RHYTHM game is hot garbage. 3rd, every damn level feels exactly the same with objects or hazards rearranged. 4th, this game is way too easy, although i had only played standard and have yet to play hard/Rhythmkill. but if all of this was fixed I think it would be a good game overall. this game has crazy potential but it has poor execution, so until that potential is realized, this game is decent. not hot trash but not crazy good either.
(I’m using a translator, so please excuse any grammatical errors) "Rhythmkill" does a great job of blending the hack-and-slash and rhythm game genres. At its core, the game is like "Crypt of the NecroDancer", though naturally it’s much more dynamic and fun. The soundtrack fits the game perfectly, and it’s very easy to sync your movements to its rhythm. You could describe it as a mix of "Ultrakill" and the aforementioned "Crypt of the NecroDancer". That might not sound like the best combination on paper, but believe me, this game is worth playing.

I just started, but the game is very cool ! would love to make music for it !
The base movement kit is so amazing. Jumping, dashing and attacking feel incredibly responsive and incredibly satisfying to do. Thanks to the ability to jump and dash like a gazillion times in a row, everything feels very fast and fluid. I recommend this game just for this movement alone. BUT, despite the base kit being so good, the things that get added as the game goes on feel really ughh... - The light tunnels that should help you move faster are too bright and you can't see ♥♥♥♥ in them, and it just confuses you every time after using them - The unparryable turrets are just straight up ass (especially on the final boss). They just beam you down from any point on the map - The HP telegraphing is just not there. It's really hard to track your HP — one moment you have full HP and the moment after you are just dead, nuked by 35 stupid unparryable turrets mentioned above. Now about the "rhythm" part of the game: - The game has those cute rhythm metronomes and all that to telegraph the beat, but really, the only thing that actually depends on the rhythm is the minigame with the enemy that forces you into a QTE. - It would be great if the attacks or moves that are performed along the rhythm were better emphasized, making it rewarding to follow the beat. (I know that they give more score, but that's the thing you get after you clear the level. It would be good if there was some instant reward, just after you performed the "good" action.) - The game doesn't punish you for just spamming through, which is great, but more reward for following the rules would also feel good. Apart from those rough edges, the game is good, especially for this price. You should definitely give it a go.
I’ve played around 49 minutes so far and I’m currently at Level 6. These are just my first impressions, but so far I’m having a pretty good time with the game. The first thing I noticed is how much RHYTHMKILL reminds me of Ghostrunner. The overall feeling is similar, but RHYTHMKILL is really fast. And I mean really fast. In my opinion, it’s noticeably faster than Ghostrunner, which I actually really like. The movement and gameplay feel very quick and satisfying once you get into it. Visually, the game has a pretty strong low-poly style. There aren’t a huge number of graphical settings, but honestly, I don’t think it needs them. The game runs extremely smoothly, and I could easily see this running well even on a pretty low-end or “potato” PC. The music is also pretty good. I really like the electronic music mixed with a bit of a hip-hop style. It fits the game well, although I feel like it’s missing a little bit of groove. Since the whole game is built around rhythm and speed, I sometimes wish the music made it easier to really feel the beat. The game itself is quite simple so far. You basically go from level to level, learn the layout, and try to get better and faster. Getting an S rank in most levels feels pretty fair: you mainly need to understand the level and improve your speed. However, the bomb levels are not really fun for me. They feel much harder than the rest of the game, especially when trying to get an S rank. I think these sections could use a bit of balancing and should be made slightly easier. One thing I would also warn people about is the brightness. I’m playing on an HDR monitor that can get very bright, and with all the strong colors and effects, the game can be pretty intense on the eyes. If you’re playing on a bright HDR display, I would definitely recommend turning the brightness down a bit. After playing for a longer time, the visuals can become pretty overwhelming. Overall, though, I’m enjoying the game. It’s fast, simple, runs extremely well, and the gameplay is satisfying. If you like fast-paced games like Ghostrunner, I’d definitely recommend giving RHYTHMKILL a try. This review was written with the help of ChatGPT, because my English is dudu.
decent game with the craziest potential i've ever seen, base game and music aree repetitive and boring, but with the right vision and decisions it can turn out in a 11/10 game
This game is SUPER addicting, its a mix of Dead As Disco and ULTRAKILL, what i find fun is the unlimited jumps and dashing, the combat and the entire "vibe" of the game. The soundtrack is amazing, and its really obvious the developer put serious effort into this game. I really hope this game gets the spotlight it deserves.
solo he jugado 10 minutos, pero estoy seguro que voy a jugarlo mas. Ha todo el mundo que le guste la dopamina hecha juego, compradlo cara nalgas
a bit confusing at first thought it was realy hard beacause i didnt know about rhythmkills but after that its so fun plus real good music
