Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 4.29/day in the week after.

I wish they'd had the spine to keep it how it was originally rather than adding npc's to painstakingly blather the entire plot at you whenever you so much as blink, at one point they had the confidence to just leave you out in the open world with all these robots and a mystery to solve, you had to reference notes against your map to find the bunkers and random points of interest but now its all map markers and radio backseating right from the start. The game went from being something unique to a mid tier run of the mill looter shooter and that just sucks. Hopefully one day they bring the original concept back as an alternative gamemode or something but I doubt that will happen.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

must have
About the time you start having fun, the game crashes for no apparent reason. Runs fine until it doesn't. bleh.
I got reminded of this game from a Youtube video, and I am downloading it again. I know I should probably actually play it again before writing the review but I just want to say that I had fun. I have memories of actually enjoying the exploration of the game. I don't really have expectations for games that I get I remember a long time ago watching some gameplay of some people hiding in some buildings from a Tank class robot thought it looked awesome and got it with a buddy. We played about a total of 40 hours and I remember it being really fun. All in all, great game with friends. Make sure to grab the DLC as I feel it fleshes out the game more. (Edit: I forgot I wanted to mention, it was refreshing as someone who has an insane burnout of Ubisoft Open World fatigue. Used to find the best part of Far Cry games was resetting outposts to find the best way to stealth the entire outpost.)
kinda boring. the beginning felt better cause the enemies did not tank that much ammo. Feels like normal weapons are severly outclassed by explosive weapons. You get sooo much ammo drops you can simply spam your explosive weapon. Kinda sad tho, cause now i dont have any reason to try smgs or pistols or even shotguns. They do so little damage.
solid open world absolutely fire with friends
здрасти. сражу скажу этот кусок гуано не запускаеться. я не могу создать учетную запись и не могу также зайти по временной записи. ВИДАТЬ И ТУТ РОССИЮ блокируют но наш дух не СЛОМАТЬ
Buy this game strictly on a deep discount because while the initial synthwave aesthetic and terrifying giant robots will temporarily blow you away, Generation Zero rapidly devolves into the world's most repetitive Swedish architecture simulator. As a solo player, you are dropped into a ghostly, completely empty map devoid of human NPCs, left to wander through endless copy-pasted towns where every single house shares the exact same interior layout, the same recycled furniture, and the same identical drawers to loot. You will spend hours wrestling with a bewildering, counter-intuitive UI and a crafting system so pointlessly obscure it feels like a riddle with no answer, all while enduring mediocre FPS gunplay against endlessly duplicated, incredibly annoying bullet-sponge robots that patrol every single area. It is a masterclass in copy-paste game design where the initial awe vanishes within two hours, leaving you asking yourself why you just searched the 500th identical nightstand for three rounds of handgun ammo, only to walk next door and do the exact same thing over and over again.
