The lore is deep and mysterious and the mechanics are varied and challenging. Also it has hats.
I like the game, yeah, it's corny, but its cool, because they are Russians trying to be funny speaking English. And you can actually control actions, it's not like just point and click. Itts funny but it's just like a space game where you have to survice and explore all the while trying to complete a mission.
This is so f***ng good. The trailer gives the vibes of what to expect: it's a "choose your own adventure" with deliberate poor acting, nonsense jokes, trivial dialogues, and a really unfortunate cat. If you don't like this low-budget, silly, dirty humour, stay away from it. Otherwise, it is pure gold. I never laughed so much playing a game.
This is what I love about videogames. I don't know anything about the creation of General Horse, but it comes across as a group of friends coming together to make something using the skills and resources available to them. What results is this weird, funny, kinda janky, FMV choice-choosing game with some basic resource management thrown in. But it has so much charm and you really get the feeling of how they worked through limitations to create a genuinely engaging experience.
I went into this game without reading or hearing much about it and it was amazing. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but it's the right kind of amateur, outsider game that I've been looking for. Honestly one of the best games I've played. It's cringe but in a good way.
I haven't had much experience with full motion video games before and it's not my favourite genre, but this one is a real gem, it's so weird and fun. The humor is at its best! Absolutely recommended! Even for players like me who don't play that type of games very often
Many laughs, much fun. Memories and a sense of connection to the great general horse and its entire galactic presence. Im am just like the hand of the king within the bush, and the everlasting space police.
the game has pretty tough challange of resource balance. twice captain horse starved and once risked by staying at planet because lack of fuel. the story is good as well. i liked the chamber of infinite pleasure.
This is fantastic!!! Need more of this!
