Elves Adventure is another GameGuru shooter, so that immediately should sound off your alarms.
Story:
From the store page: Fate of the hero is in our hands, he is a stranger on new planet. He had occasion to return, but finally he stays and decides to help local people. The game basically has no story whatsoever apart from that little description on the store page and a couple of notes you can find that explain nothing.
Graphics:
Like a majority of GameGuru games, this one is another asset flip. Most of the levels are just level packs stitched together and most of them tonally do not match (even with the story decision that world starts of bright and colorful and then ends up dark and colorless.
Like I said before the first few levels are bright and colorful worlds that look like they were ripped out of My Little Pony and the other half looks like a combination of Call of Duty palaces and Hell itself and they all look absolutely terrible. Each level is incredibly generic and terrible to navigate because most places in these levels look pretty much the same which becomes a problem later on.
Audio:
Most of the audio is royalty free sound effects and they all sound equally bad. Most guns sound like toys and whatever music is used it just sounds completely bad, especially the music trying to be creepy. In later levels when there's a ton of enemies it also attacks your senses because the sound effects are loud and they overlap with one another.
Gameplay:
Elves Adventure is a basic FPS game, you go from A to B while gunning down enemies. For the first few levels it works fine enough, while the shooting is really stiff, it works for the most part, but it quickly derails after the first few levels. A lot of the times you will be swarmed with enemies and if you die, you go back to the beginning and a few of the levels are pretty long, however soon another issue takes over.
Sometime midway through you enter a level and see no enemies anywhere and you might think to yourself "Wow, this is incredibly easy", but soon you get shot from somewhere and die. Respawning you go back and try to find the spot where you got shot from and find no one, but you still get shot and you might have guessed it that the enemies are invisible and you would be correct. There's a bug that makes the enemies invisible and for whatever reason those invisible enemies will one shot you. For most that is where the game ends, because you literally can't avoid the gunfire and end the level, but due to bugs you can force yourself out of bounds and walk to the exit which is what I did, to be able to continue playing.
The game other than that is incredibly easy, because it's really easy to exploit the enemies you can actually see. Other than that there's nothing else to really mention since it's a very generic shooting gallery, where you go from level to level while shooting enemies and nothing more.
Verdict:
Elves Adventure is absolutely horrendous. It's broken, boring and just not fun to play. I was able to power through the broken segments, but I doubt many have the patience to put up with the bugs, so all I have to say is avoid this game at all costs.
