Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
XCOM meets Gears of War. Kinda basic and enemy variety gets stale quick but still fun.
Solid game. I enjoyed the story and the top notch presentation. The mechanics and UI/UX are easy to pick up. Well worth your time if you like (Xcom) turn based tactics.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I was waiting for this game to "get going" but it never really does. only 5 classes and you can only bring 4 units per mission means you dont really need to get more than one unit of each class. The skill tree is slightly better than xcom 2 for sure but still not enough to really justify getting lots of units and try different builds. writing feels like someone watched 80s action movies and thought they were "high art". no self awareness what so ever feels like. idk, 5/10 probably
The game isn't terrible but nothing much to see here to be honest. Pro's -Fans of Gears Of War might like this. - The sound of the game is pretty good. - Voice acting is half descent. Cons - The combat is allright but feels a bit lackluster to be honest. The combat feels very unabalanced aswell. Even years after release and on lower difficulties. - Story is extremely forgetable. - The game feels extremely repetitive. Every mission feels like a chore and you're doing the same thing over and over and over. Conclusion: Fans of the Gears franchise might be into it. But if you want a similar game to this get XCOM. Its a hundred times better. This game feels like a boring lackluster clone of XCOM.
For a single player game you have to connect online. I only bought this because it's on sale.

The game is easy to pick-up and enjoyable especially if you're a fan of XCom games (and Gears of War).
Solid turn based strategy game with all the flair and aesthetics we love from Gears. Graphical presentation is pretty good, but a shame you can't freely control the camera to appreciate it properly.
A solid game, but not one that has a wow effect. There are practically no strong innovations in the core gameplay compared to other projects in the same genre (XCOM, Phoenix Point, Jagged Alliance 3, etc.). Pros: graphics, animations, cutscenes, Gears of War universe, good basic gameplay. Cons: Weak plot, some monotony of missions, lack of unique gameplay mechanics compared to competitors. Total: 6.5/10. Recommended for all fans of the genre, but don't expect unique or groundbreaking gameplay. You will get a good measured and cinematic experience without any special frills.
