Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a nifty little game. It's nothing amazing, the replayability is pretty low since it has no base building, no unique traits for soldiers, and limited random elements. It took me about 40 hours to complete the game and do a few achievements. The story is pretty good, with the exception of a few cutscenes where the main characters suddenly become absolute dimwits in order for the plot to advance. The primary character is likeable, mostly competent, and I did get invested in his success as the world and our dear leaders kept screwing him over. The mechanics are pretty good, with the exception of the fact that there are five classes and you are locked into the four main characters during the final battle, meaning that the Heavy class is entirely pointless, as learning how to use it well is a complete waste, which is sad because it’s one of the most interesting classes. There's also no reason to get attached to your soldiers, as you can just hire new and better ones. If you liked Chaos Gate: Demonhunters, XCOM2, and other games of its genre this is a nice little 40 hour palette cleanser, but it could easily have been much more with minimal effort from the game designers. There’s an unlimited grind-fest-mode after you complete the campaign, but there’s no story, no choices, just the option to keep playing and grinding up characters for no reason except achievements. Developers. I’d buy a DLC with a simple update to the Veteran mode, where you add a simple text based story to the missions. You don’t need voice actors, the frankly amazing cutscenes or anything like that. Just give me a story-reason to keep playing. You could also simply create a New Game+ so I can actually use my already established characters, AND in this new campaign, I can actually use the damn Heavy in the final mission.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Quick note you need a microsoft xbox account to play this game on PC SO this is a good Story driven squad tatics game but since its story it lacks the replayable value and the game has the hero system problem where most of the time you can run a meta squad of heros to stomp enemy AI instead of recuiting and making soldiers there is reqular troops that you need to use as well but the only class ones need are snipers support and vanguard types due to the low movement and low vision like enemy unknown has plus there is very heavy restrictions on loadouts and for some reason weapon mods that only fit certain weapons which is just annoying and some parts of the game drag on too long like the first boss reguardless of what difficulty you choose the fight drags on due to the boss being tanky and forcing you to attack from angles if the game didnt have heros then i think the game would be better and some of the missions you do dont really have any story going on just random gamemode mission where some of the missions are timed in different ways sid emissions are forced on you and act as filler missions to drag the game instead of a story mission
The story has been intriguing and the game-play is very enjoyable. Optional mission objectives or restrictions give it that extra difficulty for those that are looking for a challenge. Equipment is versatile and customizable.
Great game.
Cool overwatch system and the bosses were interesting, at least at first. However this game might have the worst pacing of any XCOM-like games I have played. Even Main mission are seemingly the same repeatable objective as the side missions. maybe 5 out of 30+ missions you will have to do to complete the game are unique.
Yo
Fantastic X-Com-like. Of all the spinoff tactics games X-Com launched, this is by far one of the most interesting, polished, and feature robust. Enjoying it a lot. Regarding hardware, works fine for me. Have encountered zero issues at time of writing, but you may want to check your specs before picking it up because that's apparently not the norm.
Overhyped trash
Xcom meets Gears i think that about sums it up.
