Gears 5

8.5/10 I will start by saying that in 11 hours you do not get all the achievements I did because I played this on launch on xbox one. So you need to log in to your microslop account just like with Halo MCC or anything xbox now. Now to the review: This takes place in a very confusing time after Gears 4, I am still pissed off that they changed many things to cater to fartnite people but, anyhow, Gears 4 was a very soft reboot for the Gears of War franchise that Microsoft will never learn when not to change studios. Over here on this one as you follow the events of Gears 4(you are not missing out if you don't play it, like any GOW it has "previously in Gears of War") that are just introducing a new wave of characters that felt aimed to the gen z gen alpha inclusivity craze and it puts you back in the "new old" timeline it's weird but that is how it feels. The new characters are...not gears of war, I mean you do play as the new main protagonist, no, not J.D. Fenix, Kait Diaz and I will not spoil anything so if you are a hardcore fan and you know Gears of War will never be Gears of War 3, I will not spoil to you the "who the ♥♥♥♥ is she?" moment. For what it is and what it was when it launched the story, tone wise, at the very start it was that "ooooh man this is Gears of War" then you remember you are a very veeeeeeeery tryhard gamer and you do remember the simplicity and the magic of the controls of gears of war, until you now have a knife and a button to become british. Almost the whole gang is here and you will get to see a lot and you will kick the ball when the time comes(you know what im talking about) and sand surf?¿¿¿? wtf? I mean within the boundaries of the story makes sense but you can tell with the story that the devs had 0 idea about what to do about it and while its not mediocre...it does feel, off you will see why. The game looks beautiful to this day in Unreal that now is slop, its optimized to high hell, YES YOU CAN STILL UNWIND AND PLAY PRIVATE MATCHES WITH BOTS BUT THEY ARE STUPID AF. For a Gears of War veteran this game will feel off, not bad, just off but for someone that has never had a chance to try this franchise I would still tell you to play the originals to get why we got here. Now to the multiplayer part it has the best goodies minus the sawed-off that was by far the best way to stand still and kill that sweaty wallbouncer that thinks the gnasher is the only weapon in the game, it's still broken if you are wondering and due to the nature of the arenas it was bound to be since the first game came out. Besides that you still have almost all the weapons you know and love and the executions feel so damn good as always. You have all the good game modes, You have Horde with the very beautiful Silverback we all love, there is free for all now and it was fun, there is a new mode that has to do with the lore of Gears 4 & 5 called "escape mode" and its like an arcade mode besides horde, so everything seems fine so far, but you are reading this because if you played the real deal with your friends and on xbox 360 and waited for the next one to be done, then you will know why "The Coalition" went back again, hopefully to the Gears of War name. NEVER FULL PRICE AND YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST And I honestly do wonder what goes inside the mind of a wallbouncer, like mashing a or a feint will not stop me from cut you in half, mashing a will not stop me from landing a headshot with boltok, longshot or the explosive bow, in fact, I carry my grenades for you, wallbouncer, for when I need to execute you, I place a nade into you bum and off you go, you can mash A all you want but im standing still and still getting mvp ribbong with Lancer

gears nunca erra, todos os gears são bons e maravilhosos inclusive o gears tactics

me sorprendió de buena manera el multi es buenísimo y la campaña es muy entretenida si te sobra el dinero y esta en oferta dale no mas (lo único malo es el peso)

Jogão para quem curte a franquia, apesar dos momentos de area aberta ficarem cansativos, Destaque para a DLC que é infinitamente melhor que o jogo base
