Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special

Very fun and unique game! Originally released on the sega saturn. I played on a old laptop on Linux using proton and the game plays perfectly, very well optimized! There are some minor issues though: – The control mapping is very basic, you can’t map every key (at least from the keyboard). What I did was to use a gamepad and the steam built-in controller configuration and that fixed my issues – The game is very tough, but fortunately you can have unlimited lives so it is not a huge issue – On Linux at least on mine machine the mouse cursor is always visible, but I installed a program that I run when I run the game so I don’t see it

am I happy that after taxes I payed 40 bucks for this? not really, but this is the kind of game you don't get twice, it's truly unique, and to be able to play it with english subtitles is a dream come true, so, if you like weird old shmups, there are a bunch of nice difficulty options to slowly train yourself, and I think the humour is really well done.

Nice "cute 'em up" tribute to Jaleco and arcade games for the time. This updated version appears to be the definitive version. Good fun to be had here regardless of your knowledge on Jaleco or arcade gaming. There's plenty of info in here to learn about those.

i think in an hour of gameplay I've already seen EVERYTHING the game has to offer; it's pretty average and as of today it's very okay at least...

Recommended. 8/10* The game is a compilation of Game Tengoku arcade and console versions. It's short; you can reach the credits screen in under half an hour in each version. However, there are several characters to choose from, making it easy to replay. The new menus and main UI are very good; the colors and art look fantastic. The pixel art is beautiful, and the character design is incredible. Everything has a very kawaii aesthetic. However, once you're actually playing, you can see that it hasn't aged particularly well, though it still looks decent. This is worse in the console version because the screen zooms in, making everything appear larger. It's also worth mentioning that enemy bullets are yellow, and since the background is rarely dark, they're sometimes difficult to see. This is exacerbated, again, in the console version by the zoom, where the bullets also feel somewhat fast due to the short screen range. The music is good; it gets stuck in your head. And what is absolutely incredible is the voice acting and the dialogues—10/10! Every time I hear it, it makes me happy and smile, and i don't even know japanese. Another thing I think is really good is the anime-style opening, waaaaa! amazing. The game has achievements and trading cards, its a good buy.

(ma réponse à jumpman91100 me servira de commentaire) Je dois avouer que je me faisais une joie d'essayer la version ''Steam'' j'ai donc sauté sur un rabais substantiel pour me le procurer.......J'en suis à moins d'une heure de jeux et ....my goodness, '' plus CHAUD que la version Saturn '' ???? BOUILLANT, projectiles et certains ennemis presque quasi inévitables et d'une vitesse!!!! J'avais un tout autre souvenir du gameplay!! Malgré tout....son ambiance ''déluré'' comme tu le dis me plaît beaucoup......mais croyez-moi...en moins d'une heure j'ai essuyé bien des continues!!!! Tout de même...pour 10.00, je vais le garder...l'explorer et tenter de passer outre cette difficultée qui relève du masochisme!!! ;-DDD !!! Cheers de la Province de Québec camarade(s)!!! :-)

AC版の移植が中途半端すぎる。というか納得がいかない まずSEが違うプーペラのショット音が違うとかステージクリアBGMの鳴るタイミングが明らかに違うとか 明らかに違う部分がある。 令和のゲームなのにステージ間NOWLOADING画面とか。エミュレーション移植でなくて プログラムのコンバート移植なんですかね？？？ さらに納得がいかないのはAC版のOPが無く。メニューで機体を決めたらそのままゲームスタートという仕様。 ラウンドセレクトができるのだが、ランクやパワーアップなどが設定できず プラクティスモードとして使えない！クイックメニューなどといえば聞こえはいいが 手抜きと自分は感じる。 サイヴァリアでも同じメニューだったのだが。 シティコネクションの人はその仕様疑問に思う人はいないんですか？？？ちゃんたけさん！？！？！？ AC版の原作のゲームでオリジナルがそうなんだから、そこは忠実に再現するべきじゃないんですか？？？ はっきりいってサターン版いらないんで、サターン版だけサターントリビュートで出して ACはアケアカで素直に移植してほしかった あと6ボス最初の攻撃の、目から自機狙い弾の安置が１００回以上練習してできなかったんだが。 これってサターン版ってできないの？？？？ ということはこれって純粋なAC移植版は収録されていないということなんだね。 なんだか紛らわしい。

You like 90s moe? Has good soundtrack. Bunch of game references. The Exerion pilot has good kiai. For some reason the pig has the best voice.
