The aesthetics of this game are well done: solid visuals (but no option for turning off cliche CRT effects), and has some great tunes. Mechanically this game is a mess. Tree is ok but simple and uninteresting. It's clearly not balanced - I used a built-in mechanic to complete the game in < 1 hr... Obnoxious moments of design oversight, e.g. when you unlock the last Object and go into the fight without the requisite power-up - it seems you just sit there doing nothing. Then it seems you're stuck fighting this same Object until it's dead. While the game also hinders your ability to gain resources. Terrible design. Not worth even $4 - refunding.
At the time of writing, this game cost me a grand total of £3.67 . Honestly, you can't get much in this day and age for that amount, so a couple of hours of entertainment is well worth that amount. The game itself is relatively short. I powered through it, with 100% completion in just over 2 hours. But again, you can hardly expect hundreds of hours of gameplay for the cost of the game. I've played a lot of incremental games and this one is exactly as you'd expect. Do a level, time runs out, go to the skill tree, grab your upgrades and then repeat. This game does allow you to unlock some extra power ups which prove useful in later game and to progress you unlock various planets. The game also has an auto aim feature, so if you want to just watch each level unfold you can. Is it ground breaking, no. Is it unique, no. Is it a bit of good fun for a small amount of money, in my opinion yes.
This game really was amazing and sucked me in. I'm a huge incremental fan and if you like incremental games, this one is definitely worth it. Although I'm gonna be blunt, 6 dollars is a bit too much, this game should be around 3 or 4 dollars CAD maximum because it's way shorter than regular incremental games. So a bit overpriced, yes but it was engaging and fun enough to let go of that. If you can afford the extra bit, by all means go ahead and get it as it will not disappoint
Good little incremantal. Nothing special but by no means bad.
It's overall pretty fun, the visuals were fantastic. The biggest complaint I have is that it's not longer, a full %100 completion took around 2 hours. That 2 hours had good content and was certainly fun, but it's not the longest incremental game there is. It does start out kinda slow but once you unlock a few powerups the progression gets faster quickly. There should be more achievements and content, but it's a pretty good experience for the price.
First of, I want to start of with saying "man, what an entertainer"! I came back from study to switch off my brain, booted it up, and let me tell you its been great. From the visuals to the sound design every thing is very appetising, and has a cool aesthetic to it. GREAT overall. Well worth the price if you ask me.
