Free-Bees

Breakout types games haven't been my go to since I was bored in my Planning 10 class, playing it on my iPod Mini. It isn't something I'm quite fond of, but I do have to give the Dev credit for trying to approach this game genre with a bit of a twist and a neat theme. Free-Bees is essentially breakout with variation added to the mix. The player is able to move the bumper left to right, and can sort of push it upwards and downwards. The angle of which the bees hit the paddle doesn't always seem right or accurate to where it should go. The tiles that the player can break change as the game progresses. Some of these blocks include more bees, smaller bees that wrap around larger bees, special abilities that lets the player engage them by pressing a key, and other assortments such as steel balls that are much heavier than the bees. There is a deep story mode where there are A LOT of levels available. At best, the [b]gameplay[/b] is alright. The [b]graphics and visuals[/b] are okay. Nothing too over the top, nothing quite animated. Everything that is required to symbolise something is happening is shown. The [b]sounds and music[/b] are not really present. There is some minor noise, but again, nothing that will get the player more involved or excited in the game. Overall, if you do like something like this I'd recommend it on sale. I am grateful for the free game and a chance to review it through my Curator channel. Let me just say, I know bees. I grew up around bees and let me tell you, this game got the bees just right. Sometimes bee games have too much hive but not this one. Just the right amount of hive. Serious kudos for doing your research!

Consider what you've done to support the continued survival of pollinators. Nothing at all - so the least you can do is free them from their honeycomb prisons. YOu should get on that. Also it's cute and fun.

Cute little hex breaker with innovative mechanics and a fun premise :)

Fun brick breaker with a relaxing, Spore-esque soundtrack. Works great with Xbox controller and the Sanctuary art unlocks provide a fun unlock system.

An enjoyable brick-breaker. The bees being chained together—along with earning bonus points for not losing any of them—adds a level of strategy that helped keep me engaged throughout. The level creation tool was also intuitive and fun to play around with. If you're into the genre I'd recommend picking it up.

クラウド対応になっているが機能していない。PCでプレイ後もSteamDeckでプレイ後も「0 bytes 保存済み / 9.31 GB 利用可能」のままで変わらず、セーブデータがクラウドに保存されていない。修正して欲しい。 ボールの替わりに蜂を飛ばす風変わりなブロック崩し系ゲーム。複数の蜂が鎖で繋がるのが面白い。デモ版をやればこのゲームのユニークさがわかる。設定から速度を変更することで難易度変更も出来る。日本語対応はしているが、ステージ選択など英語のままになっている部分も多い。ゲームを少し進めると開放される「聖域」は何をして良いのか意味がよくわからない。XUnity.AutoTranslator-ReiPatcherで英語部分を日本語に自動翻訳は可能。 SteamDeckでプレイしたせいかもしれないが、下に落としてミスしたのにゲームが終了判定にならず進行不可になったり、パドルが本来の移動範囲から外に出てしまって動かせなくなり進行不可になるバグに遭遇した（プレイ時間10分程度でその二つ）。

A unique take on familiar mechanics. I am very much enjoying this game, and I haven't even tried building my own levels yet.
