About
FOUNDRY is a first-person (first-robot?) factory builder with complete creative freedom set in a procedurally generated and infinite voxel world.
Land on an unexplored planet and design a giant automated robot production facility under the watchful direction of your AI friend, Carl. Navigate the complexities of interstellar trade and sell your products through interplanetary trade networks to reach your final goal: galactic industrial domination.

Progress from manual resource extraction to a fully automated and perfectly optimized factory.
Construct towering machinery and snaking networks of conveyor belts and pipes with no limits on where you build.
Explore a vibrant voxel world and sculpt the landscape block by block.
Research new, more advanced technologies to meet the demands of your ever-growing production lines.
Personalize your creation by unlocking decorative items and new color options.
Maintain a complex power system to keep your factory running at top speed.
Work solo or recruit outside contractors in online or LAN co-op multiplayer.
Create an enormous factory complex stretching from deep underground to the planet’s surface and the skies above.

Create a mechanically magnificent factory and a work of industrial art integrating your creation into the environment around you. Set up your machines far below the surface, high in the sky and everywhere in between. Grid-based construction gives you precise control over where and what you build.
Land on an unexplored planet and explore a procedurally generated sandbox. Journey through dense jungles, gigantic mountain ranges, and great plains stretching into the horizon, with even more to discover beneath the surface.

Design intricate systems of conveyor belts, long-distance transport networks, pipes and elevators from deep underground to automate your research. Unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize your factory and maximize production.
You’ll start by crafting items and harvesting resources manually but will soon find yourself setting up assembly lines piece by piece to devise a system that flows perfectly. Combine form, fit and function to create a smooth setup that effortlessly transforms raw materials into galaxy-grade robot products without you lifting a metallic finger.

Bottlenecks are your enemies. Remember to maintain a delicate balance between inputs and outputs so that productivity reaches its maximum potential, enabling you to progress through an extensive research tree.
Ensure that manufacturing runs at full speed. Keep your power supply well-fed and, as your factory expands, unlock upgraded machinery, advanced power generators and new customization options that will add efficiency and a splash of color to your production lines.
Work solo or collaborate in co-op and engineer creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in a vast voxel world.

A surprisingly deep builder that keeps you hooked This game does a great job of pulling you in and keeping you thinking about your next move. It’s easy to pick up, fun to play, and refreshingly free of constant threats or wildlife attacking you every few minutes. Once you get into the flow, it becomes hard to put down. ### **👍 Pros** - Graphics are solid and fit the style well - Clear long‑term goal that motivates progression - Building and deconstructing is smooth and intuitive - Huge terrain to explore - Practically endless room for creativity and perfecting your designs ### **👎 Cons** - Some machines and systems could use better explanations - Freight elevators take a bit of experimenting to master - Profit progression feels slow early on ### **💬 Final Thoughts** Once everything clicks, the game becomes incredibly satisfying. The depth, freedom, and sense of progression make it one of the stronger early access titles out there. Definitely worth the price in its current state.
At this point I am uncertain about this game. I know I don't like the belt system at all. It's a bit of a learning curve, you are not going to be able to jump right in and have it figured out. You will need to find videos that help explain systems and how to's. I want to like it, It's way worse than Satisfactory in the tutorial and belt system. I know it's supposed to expand an entire galaxy, I just can't get past the start feeling comfortable. As I write this I have to say that there are far better factory games to spend your money on. Skip this one.
As factory builders go, this one definitely is going in the right direction.
You're a robot put on a planet to harvest it's resources, rebuild your damaged space station in orbit, and make big bucks through manufacturing and galactic trade so you can pay off an astronomical debt and exert dominance on other NPC Corporations trying to get rich the same way.
Has a lot of the features you come to expect in a factory builder:
- Big machines - Conveyor belts - Drones - Power management - Fluid manipulation - Landscape manipulation (digging tunnels and caves) - Jetpack - Transport ships
Other things worth noting:
- No survival mechanics such as hunger/thirst/air/power - No fall damage - No lava damage - No player based vehicle transport
What I enjoyed most so far:
- Personal drones that can be used for mining - Ability to construct things from drone view - Ability to very easily and surgically dig down by using the elevator's built-in mechanics - Having your own space station to restore and develop - Pacing of progression - Chill nature of the corporate help bot - Well done in-game documentation/help that explains mechanics with great supporting visuals
Overall this past Free Weekend was a very satisfying experience that reminded me why I had this game on my wishlist years ago when I first tried the demo.
This is the factory base building game I've been waiting for. I highly recommend!
Very enjoyable facotory building game. What sets it apart from the others is having to manage the galactic trading, upgrading your space station and also balancing your money as it is also a resource you use to build products with.
Not recommended, at least not in the current state of the game. I am really enjoying factory builder games, but this one ain't it. Maybe in a year I'll check back in, but right now it feels more like roughly put together elements of other games. There's not really an incentive to play and the price point doesn't help. It feels like a 10€ game, not one costing 30€. The animals are cute though and the worlds art style has its vibe, but that doesn't cover up the lack of content, gameplay and replay value. 2/5, maybe 1 or 2 years of additional development time can help fix tthe issues I have with the game
These kinds of games are like crack to me. And this one has pretty much done everything right. My only gripe, and it is purely aesthetic, is that I find myself wishing I could actually put the robots down on the ground and actually play around with them instead of them solely being a commodity to be shipped and sold. But that's okay. Keep up the good work, devs!
Выглядит и играется очень дёшево. На уровне игр из ВК Обучающий бот, озвученный бесплатной ИИшкой делает пребывание в этой игре просто невозможным
Factory game without blueprint system is pain.
