Was good at start but completely lost its mojo and became "yet another vamp surv like", lost in early access for Lord-knows-how-long-time. Shame. It was promising and the pixel art is good. Don't waste your money on it and let it rot.
I really enjoyed this game about two years ago and nothing has changed since that time. Its a fun game with pretty cool art but honestly I can't recommend abandonware so don't buy it unless you REALLY want to play an unfinished survivor-like. If they ever finish the game I'll change my review and I truly hope that day comes.
This game has been in Early Access since 2023, and its last substantial update was in 2025. Over the past year, there has only been a single news post, and it no longer feels like the game is in active development. In that update, the developers announced that they were essentially rebuilding the gameplay from scratch. Making such a fundamental change three years into Early Access is questionable, especially given the current pace of development, which appears to have stalled. The game is clearly inspired by the Survivors genre, but for some reason it also tries hard to be an ARPG. In the end, it doesn't succeed at either. The meta-progression revolves around an overly bloated, heavily RNG-dependent loot system where you'll spend most of your time collecting useless items. Progress rarely feels meaningful or rewarding. Several achievements are also excessively grindy and rely more on luck than skill. Overall, the game feels like it lacks a clear creative direction. It tries to do too many things at once, and the result is a project that ultimately collapses under the weight of its own ambitions.
No updates for over a year now, potentially dead game.
Devs have not been updating the game for a long time. Basically, it's an unfinished game but with potential. Never buying early access again.
Abandoned since December 2025.
game was fun at the start, but was yet another lesson learned in "don't buy early access games". The communication has been slim, and the game has taken an odd direction, if its still even being worked on at all.
i have 40 hours in this game and i can't remember a single thing about it. that is the very definition of forgettable .
MFS READ THE BLOG POSTS IF YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT THE DOWNTIME BETWEEN UPDATES. No. The game is not abandoned. They are currently rebuilding many of the game's systems from the ground up, including how the game generates terrain. They have also stated that the next update will be their biggest one yet, and they're trying to make better sprites than before. Given how incredibly detailed the sprites already are, that is a MASSIVE statement. THE GAME ISNT ABANDONDED, AND EVEN IF IT WAS, WHAT'S HERE IS BETTER THAN WHAT 90% OF GAMES HAVE WHEN RELEASED
Pretty decent survivors/roguelite style game. Worth picking up at the price point. Just note that the updates are pretty slow to release but what the game has can give you a good amount of time as is. Overall I thought it was fun and that's enough of a reason to pick it up for me.
