About
FOUNDRY is a first-person (first-robot?) factory builder with complete creative freedom set in a procedurally generated and infinite voxel world.
Land on an unexplored planet and design a giant automated robot production facility under the watchful direction of your AI friend, Carl. Navigate the complexities of interstellar trade and sell your products through interplanetary trade networks to reach your final goal: galactic industrial domination.

Progress from manual resource extraction to a fully automated and perfectly optimized factory.
Construct towering machinery and snaking networks of conveyor belts and pipes with no limits on where you build.
Explore a vibrant voxel world and sculpt the landscape block by block.
Research new, more advanced technologies to meet the demands of your ever-growing production lines.
Personalize your creation by unlocking decorative items and new color options.
Maintain a complex power system to keep your factory running at top speed.
Work solo or recruit outside contractors in online or LAN co-op multiplayer.
Create an enormous factory complex stretching from deep underground to the planet’s surface and the skies above.

Create a mechanically magnificent factory and a work of industrial art integrating your creation into the environment around you. Set up your machines far below the surface, high in the sky and everywhere in between. Grid-based construction gives you precise control over where and what you build.
Land on an unexplored planet and explore a procedurally generated sandbox. Journey through dense jungles, gigantic mountain ranges, and great plains stretching into the horizon, with even more to discover beneath the surface.

Design intricate systems of conveyor belts, long-distance transport networks, pipes and elevators from deep underground to automate your research. Unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize your factory and maximize production.
You’ll start by crafting items and harvesting resources manually but will soon find yourself setting up assembly lines piece by piece to devise a system that flows perfectly. Combine form, fit and function to create a smooth setup that effortlessly transforms raw materials into galaxy-grade robot products without you lifting a metallic finger.

Bottlenecks are your enemies. Remember to maintain a delicate balance between inputs and outputs so that productivity reaches its maximum potential, enabling you to progress through an extensive research tree.
Ensure that manufacturing runs at full speed. Keep your power supply well-fed and, as your factory expands, unlock upgraded machinery, advanced power generators and new customization options that will add efficiency and a splash of color to your production lines.
Work solo or collaborate in co-op and engineer creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in a vast voxel world.

Can't really recommend this over other factory game staples at this time. A lot of this game feels cribbed from other games, and maybe that's due to it being branched off of a Minecraft mod but I see bits and pieces of many different factory games in this one and in my opinion it doesn't do any of it nearly as well as those games. It feels very bland, very by the numbers, and tries to hit the same beats as Satisfactory but it feels unpolished and vanilla compared to the unique style of other games like this. I think there's a fun formula here but I can't help but wonder if they were too slow to get this to market and now all the ideas they had have been done better and finished sooner than the development of this one. I'll check back after launch most likely but for now I would easily recommend checking out either Dyson Sphere Program, Satisfactory, Factorio etc to get your fix for now and if you already played those maybe just wait a little bit longer on this one to see how it shakes out. Updating this review for the latest trains update and my feelings are unchanged. In fact they are leaning more into taking concepts from other games wholesale. I think this is a pretty competently made game but it feels like you can tell which factory games were out and what they were doing based on what makes it into Foundry because they've taken bits from Factorio, Satisfactory, Techtonica, Captain of Industry, etc. without really understanding why those games have those mechanics. Other games have trains? We need trains. Doesn't matter if they're needed. People like satisfactory's Dimensional Depot? Add our own, call it Xeno Logistics Crate yeah. Take *everything* from Techtonica because nobody remembers that one. This feels like a game that people say is a love letter to factory games but to me it feels like a cheap imitation of a half dozen other factory games I've played and loved and would rather play again.

lots of fun
WHERE THE F@#* ARE THE BLUEPRINTS? I want to love this game, but by the time you get to the late game and you have to build the same set up for the 300th time, it just feels like a waste of the player's time. Blueprints don't hinder creativity, they incentivize you to be very creative and then utilize that as a way to automate your experience. This doubles with base/factory building, find some cool design or pattern you want to build into the structure of your factory, have fun repeating the same build a thousand times. Do I want to become a space magnate, yeah, but between building the same systems over and over again one piece at a time, the only other late game thing to do is pipe one resource, when it runs out, go find another and pipe that into your system. Are some people going to be lazy and just copy other people's blueprints, sure.. but that's their prerogative. They bought the game, let them not experience it, it's out of your hands at that point devs. But don't make your game needlessly repetitive to try and instill some weird pointless gatekeepy message.
This is another great factory automation building game. It is truly fun, and deeply addictive. If you like Factorio, Satisfactory, or Dyson Sphere, this might work for you; but bear in mind it's more like Satisfactory, in that it's in full 3D. Unlike Satisfactory, resources in Foundry run dry, and also, you can carve into the landscape, and you need to keep exploring. I loved Satisfactory, but received the same kick of endorphins from this game. I really enjoy it. It's a great game, which they continually update. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fresh take on the factory building genre, but who's not worried about getting addicted to a new kind of factory crack :) 2026 Update ———-–——- 30+ hours in, and I’m still loving the game! Once you get into space trade, the game opens up quite a bit. I am also loving the way elevators and mining works. The game is quickly becoming my favourite… oh, and don’t get me started on trains!
utterly ♥♥♥♥, placing anything with any accuracy other than buildings is so damn frustrating. F1 "help" is worthless. The explanation for making a boiler is one paragraph and tells you nothing of value...............stay away
I need to stop buying these factory games. I never finish any.
minecraftory
хуятина полная дерьмо знатное
Хорошая игра, всегда не хватало нечто подобного, где можно и красиво строить и при этом есть автоматизация
Satisfactory + Minecraft = Perfection
