About
FOUNDRY is a first-person (first-robot?) factory builder with complete creative freedom set in a procedurally generated and infinite voxel world.
Land on an unexplored planet and design a giant automated robot production facility under the watchful direction of your AI friend, Carl. Navigate the complexities of interstellar trade and sell your products through interplanetary trade networks to reach your final goal: galactic industrial domination.

Progress from manual resource extraction to a fully automated and perfectly optimized factory.
Construct towering machinery and snaking networks of conveyor belts and pipes with no limits on where you build.
Explore a vibrant voxel world and sculpt the landscape block by block.
Research new, more advanced technologies to meet the demands of your ever-growing production lines.
Personalize your creation by unlocking decorative items and new color options.
Maintain a complex power system to keep your factory running at top speed.
Work solo or recruit outside contractors in online or LAN co-op multiplayer.
Create an enormous factory complex stretching from deep underground to the planet’s surface and the skies above.

Create a mechanically magnificent factory and a work of industrial art integrating your creation into the environment around you. Set up your machines far below the surface, high in the sky and everywhere in between. Grid-based construction gives you precise control over where and what you build.
Land on an unexplored planet and explore a procedurally generated sandbox. Journey through dense jungles, gigantic mountain ranges, and great plains stretching into the horizon, with even more to discover beneath the surface.

Design intricate systems of conveyor belts, long-distance transport networks, pipes and elevators from deep underground to automate your research. Unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize your factory and maximize production.
You’ll start by crafting items and harvesting resources manually but will soon find yourself setting up assembly lines piece by piece to devise a system that flows perfectly. Combine form, fit and function to create a smooth setup that effortlessly transforms raw materials into galaxy-grade robot products without you lifting a metallic finger.

Bottlenecks are your enemies. Remember to maintain a delicate balance between inputs and outputs so that productivity reaches its maximum potential, enabling you to progress through an extensive research tree.
Ensure that manufacturing runs at full speed. Keep your power supply well-fed and, as your factory expands, unlock upgraded machinery, advanced power generators and new customization options that will add efficiency and a splash of color to your production lines.
Work solo or collaborate in co-op and engineer creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in a vast voxel world.

Huge potential with this one. Waiting for future updates but what is here is very solid foundation and good innovation in the genre.
Underappreciated and has great potential, if you liked factorio or satisfactory, this is well on the way to being better. The large buildings and assembly lines bring great concepts which will be expanded in the future. Mod community needs to grow more though.
I'm a fan of factory automation games, with hundred of hours in Satisfactory, Dyson Sphere, etc. But, I didn't like this game at first. Somehow it just didn't "click" with me. Now, on my fourth attempt to get into this game, things are different. I'm loving this game. I think I just came in too early in early access, before the Devs had finalized and polished everything. The thing that makes this game different than other factory automation games is the galactic market. You can make things and sell them out in the galaxy. You can also buy things from the galaxy. In fact the galactic currency ends up being a resource that you need to feed into your factories. This creates a tension, balancing act, between using firmalite (money) as money or as a resource. (Think about gold as being either money or a component in electronic circuits.) Shipping rates to and from the galactic market begin to affect your ability to produce and expand. Exchange rates, galactic demand, etc. It's a whole new wrinkle that makes this game unique, and it is fun as heck trying to figure it out and master it. If you like factory games, this one is definitely worth a try.
144 hours into the game, and even though I'm still a noob who hasn't gotten past red science in any save, so far I'm enjoying the game greatly!
very good one. there's still pretty much to improve though, but its already great as is. satisfactory combined with factorio depth, but without any hostile things roaming around trying to destroy you. many find it a con though, personally i would like to have this feature(optional, just to be able to add some challenge and more combat related mechanics, only if you want to) too, but if it means hurting development of other currently planned things, then thats completely fine to leave it. and the game also has mod support, so maybe someone can do a mod focused purely on combat
It felt too much like other games in this genre. like idk a better way to put that, I didn't play a whole lot, but it felt too stylized torwards the other big 2 in the genre. It's clear this game is heavily inspired by factorio and satisfactory, which isn't a bad thing, I just never saw anything that made the game it's own during the trial period I played. The first three things you make is a platform, a biomass burner, and a miner. like word for word same naming conventions and everything, I liked the crafting system but it was heavily inspired by factorio as well. Looking the game up, it seems like this is a reoccuring trait as well. Being said, graphics felt arcady, but it worked, and outside of the tutorial not really showing keybindings or how to do things, overall it made sense. I just lacked ambition to actually want to do anything. The smelter was cool, i liked not having to enter a menu on it. I just didn't see enough to want to keep playing.
Hammer !!!
