A first-person factory automation game that blends traditional production line building with a more hands-on, immersive perspective. The concept is interesting and it carves out its own niche within the factory genre, especially with its attempt at combining logistics and space trading systems. However, the game is still clearly in an early stage of development. Content is limited, and most systems feel bare-bones or underdeveloped compared to more established factory games. We managed to unlock most of the available content in just a few hours, which highlights both its potential and its current lack of depth. Despite that, the core factory-building loop is enjoyable enough that I’d be interested in returning once more updates are released.

Mild positive. This game is a lot of fun if played 'correctly'. There are a lot of improvements to the game over time, but it needs some tweaking. You NEED the mods "Foundry Commands" so you can create waypoints and teleport to them, and "Duplicationeer" so you can copy/paste assembly lines. The game gets tedious VERY FAST if you don't have them. There's also a problem with the late game. By the time you get to the late game where you're using assembly lines, your computer WILL say "Limiting Simulation Performance". I have a brand new top of the line PC from last year and that still happens. The "Cargo Pipes" mod is great and think helps so you don't have conveyors thousands of meters in length supplying your lines where each meter need to be simulated. The game is made for the early game which is fun, but late game it gets tedious and requires a top-of-the-line PC to get even adequate performance.
It's not appealing and there are many small reasons why. The controls are a little strange, the belts are awful. The narrator is off-putting. Everything all together just ends up being unappealing for the first few hours. Then you see the galaxy map and a few other ideas added to the factory genre and get where they are going with it. There are some QoL merits. Smelters automatically make the correct recipe based on input. A map with your placed buildings is nice. The Minecraft block terrain is also nice, as are the generated worlds. It has a lot in its favor. That less than 15% of players attain the achievement for making the 2nd type of science (it copies Factorio in this way) means most people start and quit very early in the game. I understand why they quit, the first impressions are not good. Still, it's not a terrible game. It just doesn't suck you in for some reason.
Uses and installs a third party launcher onto the users PC, does this automatically on game launch, there is no notice of this action anywhere on the store page.

This game would be better if it hired voice actors instead of using AI slop.
This type of game lives or dies by how good it feels to lay down a bunch of buildings and conveyer belts. Satisfactory nailed this in 3d by just letting you drag connections from one building to another. This game thinks it's a 2d game, a perspective wherein it's easy to align buildings, belts, loaders etc... Unfortunately, Factorio's setup just does not work in 3D. Aligning everything is pure tedium and that's before we get into how much of a pain verticality and changing conveyer belt elevation is. Just let me drag from point a to point b, even across elevations, and figure out the intervening belts. Also a bit disappointing that the world appears to be procedurally generated. One of the things that justified the inconveniences of 3D in satisfactory was the gorgeous, interesting to explore, hand-crafted map. This minecraft-but-prettier world just feels skin-deep and hollow. Finally, dear God, include an always sprint or at least sprint toggle button. There is zero reason to make people hold down an extra key. It's an accessibility thing for all of us older gamers that are constantly on the verge of a RSI.
I hate carl bot Don't put an LLMTTS-oid into a game and call it ai Get a writer and a VA and I'll turn this thumb upside down
