I really like this game, however for some reason it's crash quiet often. Usually don't have any problem in the first few hours, but after the first crash it's doing after in every 5 mins. Don't know what cause this problem, I don't have any issue with other games. But in general this is a lovely game, it's chill, you cant mess up so perfect for relax. Also the devs are really friendly and they're care about the community.
Macht einfach Spass!!
nice city builder :)
Foundation is one of the most unique, but somehow familiar, city builders I have ever played. I love the organic feel to how things get built and how roads form, and the flexibility of the variety of 'free build' type buildings. It seems to sit somewhere between Tropico and Anno -- where individual people are simulated and you can 'interact' with them to see what they need, but there is also a strong focus on supply chains and trade. I do not find that it is particularly challenging, but it makes for a very chill experience of planning, optimizing, and just observing your people living their lives. There are some interesting approaches to common situations that I appreciate. One big example off the top of my head is 'crime'. There is no crime in the game -- instead you have patrols and watch towers and such that provide a 'fortification level' (you could think of it as how secure the area is). So there's no 'negative' from crime happening, rather than a positive of coverage that would in theory prevent crime. It's an interesting an different approach that I like. At the end of the day it manifests as a statistic that determines if housing upgrades. (housing upgrades feel very much like Anno, meet some criteria and they upgrade) I had backed this on kickstarter and right after release I did find that performance got a little wonky after a while, but I have been playing it relentlessly over the past few days and haven't run into any performance issues at all. I have a feeling that some of the concepts might be difficult or not particularly well explained for someone completely new to the genre -- either Tropico or Anno -- but as I am quite familiar with both, it was easy to pick up. There are a lot of tutorial type things which manifest as "your people have asked you to do X", though they are more similar to quests and effectively tell you to build X thing with Y features or something along those lines. Anyway, I suppose what I'm getting at is that my gut tells me the tutorials as is might not be enough for completely new folk, but I could be way off base there. All in all, I love this game and I struggle to find flaws in it really. I normally like to include some negatives but I'm drawing a blank.
A really fun game, I love watching my little guys busy at work
Все что о игре говорят все правда!
A development team that put a slider in the audio menu to remove the sounds of the environment like birds and crickets , oh my :O I have a smidge of faith in humanity again lol. This is such a HUGE quality of life feature that sooooooooo many games need. Thank you devs for common sense development of a gem of a game. It is a great colony sim, lots of fun if you enjoy that sorta thing.
j'aime ce jeu.
