Big fan of what this game accomplished! Yes it's an arcade racer, but you still need to pay good attention to your braking points and racing lines to do well. You don't just drift around willy-nilly like most arcade racers. It's also really fun to feel tire degradation slowly make my turning less responsive, and then to suddenly feel like I'm in a rocket ship as soon as I swap to new tires. This is something I've never experienced in an arcade racer before. All of that makes this game something totally unique. It's not perfect, but it's executed well enough. One negative is the sheer amount of paid DLC. Hopefully they'll put the DLC on sale often because it feels pretty excessive.
