About
Cinnabunny is a cute couch co-hop game focused on running a bakery and living in a village with fellow buns. Drawing inspiration from games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, Cinnabunny is meant to be a relaxing, cozy experience designed for gamers and non-gamers alike. It can be played locally by one or two players.
Oh no! Your cute, hoppy bun family is fighting a nasty drought. They'll be okay for a while, but your mother has tasked you with finding a new place for the family to live. After a long journey, you've found it! Welcome to Sugar Creek Burrows, a paradise among buns. Run your new bakery and save up so your family can move here too!
Learn various recipes, like breads, pies, and cookies. Make them your own by adding special combinations of supplemental ingredients like berries, nuts, or spices!
Different recipes require different ingredients. And a true baker will find or make those ingredients themselves! Plant wheat and make flour, forage for easter eggs in the forest, or even head to the caves to mine for salt!
Sugar Creek Burrows is a quaint village bustling with fun and quirky buns. Unlock new dialogue as you progress the relationship and gift them your baked goods to discover their individual taste preferences.
Your bakery doubles as your living quarters. Make your house a home by organizing your baking tools, adding furniture, and maximizing coziness.
Use your birdoculars to capture pictures of the various bird species around Sugar Creek Burrows. With over thirty species of birds to discover (each with true-to-life bird calls), you'll have to scour the skies in various weather, seasons, and times of day to find them all.
Rowan, a scientist bun, added some robotic components to her garbage in an attempt to solve the world's littering problem. Alas, the experiment went horribly awry! Use your net gun to capture all the rogue recyclobots.
The village of Sugar Creek Burrows and its surrounding forest and caves are home to 40 different species of mushrooms. Become an expert mycologist!
Your bun has four basic skills in Cinnabunny: baking, foraging, birdwatching, and recycling. Every time you perform the skill successfully, you'll get better at it, giving unique bonuses as you level up.

*Important note:* Cinnabunny is a local multiplayer game, meaning two people can play on the same system. There is no native online multiplayer. In order to play with another person, you will need at least one gamepad (xbox controllers work well). There is no split keyboard controls.
It is possible to play online multiplayer via Steam's Remote Play Together feature (one computer will connect to another one to play). However, the second player must have a controller for this to work (this is a limitation of the game engine I use and how it handles local multiplayer).
Additionally, this game encourages co-operative gameplay. Players share an inventory and have access to the same tools. Also, while player 2 can do everything player 1 can, you cannot enter different unique sections of the map at the same time (so if one player wants to go to the forest or the caves for example, both players must go). Buns stick together, after all!

Cinnabunny🍞🐰 Help Big Bounce become a master baker and earn carrots to rescue his poor bun family to join you in Sugar Creek Burrows! Start small, with one recipe (Flatbreads), and before you realize it… Seasons change, the sky shifts colors, rain falls softly, and slowly you've unlocked 13 different recipes! Learn new recipes by gifting the 12 hungry villagers their favorite treat. keep notes in menu on what everyone likes or dislikes. Collect 18+ other ingredients to enhance your flavors! 🥐 You can even plant shrubs and trees in town that produce fruit, nuts, and herbs! At first I questioned the price of this game, because the starting village is small. but the more I played I clearly see the hard work of a single developer who is very helpful, and all the passion that polished this to a deeply charming game! 🍰 TIPS: > Explore inside each building! > "Sniff" to locate a specific bunny > Bring all family members to town as quickly as possible!! 🐰 > Post Office community projects, I recommend the Community Garden right away which gives you free seeds and crops! > If you accidentally ship something, recall it back (B 🎮) > Figure out how to get the Glider, and the deer mount, because that freedom is amazing!! :3 > In the mines you can scythe the colorful grasses for seeds! > Once you have your bakery sign, stand on top of it to change/edit the name!! 0_0 > Locate the (4) trees in the forest & visit them before noon and sometime later.. (The trees that have a branch for a bird to perch). The Gopher Tunnels will help you fast travel to them later, and this is helpful if you're tying to 100% the birds achievement. 🐦
This is like the cutest and, at the same time, fun game I've ever played. I lost my Bunny recently and I bought this game as I miss him. Created the Bunny exactly like him. Anyway, the game is fun, you get to bake stuffs and interact with other bunnies, and also take photos of birds and do quests to earn carrots. I don't usually write reviews for games but this game is so cute and fun I had to. Highly recommended!
to keep it short: Stardew valley game with baking and bunnies 11/10 :)
would I pay $25 for this game? no. I'd probably pay $15 though. it has a little mushroom museum, some unique tools, and a good baking mini game. the graphics are what you get, and I think there needs to be more hints about the baking recipes. but this game begins to feel very repetitive and small. that being said, i do very much like the bird watching, the mushroom hunting, and both the butterflies are a nice touch. if the game had like, two or three more areas, maybe a secondary main quest, then I'd pay more
My boyfriend and I play this through remote steam play, and we have been really enjoying this game so far!! The music is super calming, and the graphics are nostalgic. I especially like the ability to take notes on each bunny's likes and dislikes. I highly recommend! :)
bake my buns
I really love playing this game and plan on playing more (going for all achievements!!) I am a bunny lover and I love cozy farming games so this is an absolutely amazing game for me to just shut off my brain and play. All the animations are absolutely ADORABLE!! And I love all the customisation you can do with your bunny!!! When you give a bunny their favourite baked good for the first time it plays a really cute shocked animation that reminded me a lot of tomodachi life honestly. I loved it. It's good that it doesn't happen after you feed them the baked good but I kinda wish I could do something to shock and surprise them into that animation again LOL. The baking part is really fun, I like being able to add your own ingredients and roll out the dough and all that stuff. I kinda wish we could try out our own baked goods? :3 I enjoyed this game but seeing the full price I don't think it's worth it if it's not on sale.. The game feels empty after the first few hours and while I enjoy quite grindy gameplay I know that it's not really everyones favourite. The game is about you bringing your family which has been hit by a drought to a new town, it's honestly a bit difficult to do as the price to move them really skyrockets as you do more and it feels rather unrewarding... I will say I've only moved 3 family members so far (half) so maybe that'll change and one of them will offer more but as of right now it really doesn't feel worth it ? I really like the music, it's really cozy and I didn't need to like put on Spotify or anything while playing the game. Just very calming! Loved it There are many ways to earn the in game currency, I think the main one that players just starting will do is mushroom foraging which I find fun and very rewarding, I really liked how the mycologists room filled with mushrooms as you donated new ones!! After that you move onto baking things just to sell them which I also like, it feels rewarding as I'm also levelling up my various baking skills but I think once they're all maxxed out it may feel more like a grind. In the town you have bunnies to talk to and if you liked the characters in Stardew and are hoping for a similar experience I'm sorry but this is not the game for you haha. I didn't care for the characters in Stardew so this isn't a big deal to me at all but the characters feel much more like cardboard cutouts than characters you form a bond with. It is a nice touch that you receive a gift after you max friendship though. There is a cave in the game that you can enter to mine salt and get chests, the cave feels really empty to me and after getting level 10 in mining and stockpiling on pink salt (which you can only get after hitting level 10) I didn't enter the cave again. It just didn't feel worth continuing to explore especially when the furniture from chests tends to be the same 4-5 things... the ingredients you can get for chests are worth it, especially early in the game, but they tend to not appear often and if they do it might not even be the one you need. Getting ingredients is tough before youre able to get saplings and bushes from the other rabbits (after which you get honestly too many, I don't need so many berries..!! Though the saplings are fine since they take longer to mature and I've only ever gotten one of some of them). You can also only get the hang glider from the red chests in the cave which I found a bit annoying >< It took me ages to figure out how the blue fairies(?) worked properly which I think I've seen other players comment on too.. some more instruction on how they move, how they can't hit walls or they despawn, and where to move them to would probably be helpful but maybe it's because I'm a yellow gamer paint gamer The forest does not feel as empty as the cave and I generally have fun wandering around, foraging, and looking for birds. I do not understand why you can unlock a plane for it though, it doesn't really feel like it adds anything? I suppose it'd be useful for seeing what birds are flying around but you can't photograph from inside the plane and you can also just see them from the ground if you use your camera and look up.. There's also a secret spot (oouuh) in the forest with 2 more planes after you unlock the planes but with those ones I actually couldn't even figure out how to make it start flying, I ran up a rock to get into the air and that worked but I don't think that's how it's meant to be. The recyclobots are cute and I enjoy catching them, wish the river ones spawned more! Hard to get them but otherwise I really enjoy them!! For collecting all of them I've been having a fun time so far I've collected every species of mushroom and it was not too hard, I looked up where they could all spawn to figure it out (though I wish there was something in game I could get to say where to find them, amethyst deciever in caves and cauliflour on top of the cliff locations you could buy maybe like a foraging guide book? not sure..) and then I would visit those areas every day, sometimes even refreshing the areas by leaving and then coming back. I like the mushrooms a lot The birds though... ouug... the concept is really fun but trying to photograph all birds is soo tedious.. I also looked up where all the birds could spawn and some of them are season specific so you need to go through at least one year to get all of them. This wouldn't be a big issue but the gameplay feels really empty once you get past Warm, there's not really much to do other than grind away and I feel like I'm going to end up sleeping to Rainy and skip days entirely which I don't really want to do but there's just not enough to do in the meantime honestly. Like with the mushrooms I wish there was a way for you to know the spawn locations or something.. in the trees I've found what I think are all 4 trees birds can spawn on and after going and running around a lot I've memorised where they can spawn, doesn't really stop the feeling of waiting for the exact right bird to show up any better though. SRYY for long review. I just really enjoy this game. I want more bunny content and to see this game get better and thrive. Will be playing for a long while more :3
bnuy bnuy flop flop flop yay
Super cute game and the pros outweigh the cons so I recommend getting it. The game has super kind and helpful devs which is always amazing and the bunnies are soooo cute Pros: The character customisation is really cute, there's colourblind settings, bunnies!!!, when you give a bunny their fave treat they do a superrr cute animation, it's not a stressful game, you can easily teleport out of the cave and forest so don't have to worry about finding your way back, you can pet snails, the cave is really fun and you can get cool decorations there, and the devs are super helpful! Cons: Time doesn’t pause when playing minigames, when decorating your house, when shipping items etc. The map is pretty baron and the world is not super pretty to look at, you can’t change the camera view, the house customisation mechanics are not great, there's no autosave feature so if you accidentally close the game without saving you lose all your progress from when you last went to bed : (
This is one of the cutest games I have ever played. Simple and cozy. Would recommend.
