About
Resource extraction: In Forest Construction VR, several basic sources of construction materials are available, such as trees, stones, and clay. You will be able to use various tools to gather them, then divide the collected materials into parts, process them, and use them in construction.

Crafting: The gathered resources can be processed at workstations into various construction elements, such as bricks, planks, beams, and other building components.
Construction: The construction mechanic allows you to place an object at any angle and in any location, enabling you to build a wide variety of structures such as houses, towers, bridges, and anything else you can imagine using the materials you have gathered and processed.
Interactivity: Forest Construction VR offers players excellent physical interactivity. Players will need to carry, transport, lift, and hold tools and construction materials, which have the necessary physical properties for realistic interaction.
Sandbox gameplay without survival: Forest Construction VR does not limit you to survival, but invites you to immerse yourself in the creative process of construction and experimentation without unnecessary restrictions.
These key mechanics will help you create unique structures, enjoy the building process, and immerse yourself in the cozy atmosphere of the forest world of the game. Use these opportunities to have a great time.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/2Kx1pgT0Oug I had fun playing this game. It isn't perfect. It is budget-priced for a reason, but I had a blast building the most beautiful outhouse in all of Alberta, Canada! So there's a lot to like here. There's also quite a bit not to like. So the good stuff is that the game is budget-priced and you can build a lot of cool stuff. The tools are mostly fun to use. Just don't expect realistic physics. For example, you can fell a tree. Where you strike, won't necessarily match up with where you see the cut on the tree. Then after the tree is down, if you cut some more, you'll see the tree perfectly cut into symmetrical pieces. That can be seen as either good or bad, depending on how much realism you want in your forest construction game. Notice, they didn't call this a sim and I think that was a very wise call. Another big negative is when you put the wood through the saw table, it's just a button push versus actually doing it yourself. That's the most sad part about this game! Still, it feels good to use the scythe and cut the grass. There's some nice physics there. It's fun to use the chainsaw, even if it's not realistic at all. All the power tools are fun to use. Plus it's just easy to put all the pieces together or take them apart. It's fun to drive your forestry equipment and bring all the materials to your base while you honk the horn and drop the lift gates. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did experience an issue with using the crowbar to take some items apart, but it did eventually work. You have full locomotion, along with smooth and snap turning available. You can technically play seated, but it is much better standing TBH. can you make it if you are small you can turn on tall person mode for exaple
I bought and refunded this twice as I didn't appreciate what the game actually was. If you're looking for a construction game that will enable you to build anything you can think of (from wood and stone) then look no further. Sure.. the physics ain't great and there's a couple of bugs but if you ignore that then this game is 🔥. A proper Sunday or rainy day kind of game. Reminds me of minecraft but for adults 8.9/10
English translation First of all, I love this game and I know there are others of the same genre, but none reach this level. For example, House Flipper VR, which I find incredibly ugly. The concept of Forest Construction VR is perfect, and I'm confident I can build magnificent structures, but it lacks certain materials like nails, screws, and finishes such as insulation, windows, or glass, which could be crafted from sand, a forge, a drill, or a pneumatic nail gun. An additional level and the ability to buy tools by selling wood, for example, along with many other materials and tools, and the ability to level the terrain, would be fantastic. Okay, I know I'm getting a bit carried away with the choice of usable elements, but that's what, in my opinion, is missing from the start. Furthermore, I would say that the need to directly manipulate the materials stems from the simple fact that it's very difficult to maintain a consistent level in the room. Furthermore, the ability to choose the size of the cutouts, like in House Builder with the log cabin mission (which was, I believe, the game's biggest hit), would be a welcome addition. Nevertheless, I'm going to have a blast, albeit with a bit of frustration, playing this game that has been sorely missed by VR players on Steam. P.S. Oh, and having the option to play while seated would be convenient, and not just for me. Translation
love the game 10/10. would like a blueprint system of some sort and how much materials ill need to bulid it
This game is amazing i have made alot of stuff thought my playtime. I think the devs should give us a multiplayer version of this game. It would make the game more like a construction game. Would make the experience much more exciting for this game.
it sucks my 500$ gaming laptop cant run my 800$ headset cant run and over all it just sucks
