Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wanted to like this game so badly, as a kid that grew up obsessed with dinosaurs and the concept of becoming a paleontologist, but sadly the controls, lack of direction and bugged achievements quickly ruined it for me. I appreciate the immense attention to detail (that you would expect from a paleo sim game) but unfortunately it becomes too complex too quickly. The game barely tells you what to do and when to do it and I became stuck multiple times within just a handful of hours that it just grew frustrating and it started feeling more like a chore than a game. I earned multiple achievements that never actually triggered, which instantly put me off. These are issues which could easily be fixed which would immensely improve the quality of the game but sadly doesn't look like they ever will be.
Played it for about 6 hours, not 7, the rest was booting it up, exiting, fixing settings, then playing it. Then after a 6 hour session or so of actually playing it and not opening the game for a few days it magically does NOT function. I get to the main menu and I can click NOTHING. I have searched the problem and the solutions are: A. Make sure you dont have a controller plugged in that has buttons being pressed by accident B. Move your save data to make sure nothing is corrupted C. Delete some special file like a coder, verify game files, and "it should work now" -per devs I tried ALL THREE. My controller? unplugged Game saves? Moved them Twice to see if it was the issue And I followed the instructions in a community post where someone had the same issues deleting that weird file area and verifying file integrity. Nothing Worked. As for gameplay when it did function? It was fun enough. The method of getting fossils is straightforward but a bit clunky and tedious, and not in the good way. I appreciate having the option to decorate dino models for a museum but being essentially forced into it isnt my jam. Why are we putting sculptures out too instead of the bones we assembled? The car driving is also absolutely abhorrent. I feel like the vehicles have zero power, get stuck on the smallest tree or rock model, and slip around like on ice. The amount of times I spun around or got stuck just making a basic turn was ridiculous and killed half the fun of the game for me. End of the day I wish I could get a refund but Steam declined it despite the seemingly unfixable tech issues.

The game starts with a "tutorial", where you draw a dino with numbered dots and build "models", which are just wooden blocks. This is all the game thinks you need to know on how to play the game. Then the game tells you to DRIVE to the site, except the game then tells you to stop and USE A DAMN CHAINSAW TO GET A TREE OFF THE ROAD! This is the main issue with the game it adds too much non fossil related busywork with the game doesn't really explain how to do. Why does this game have driving sections? Why do I have a chainsaw? Imagine repair sim where you must drive to the post office each time you need to order new parts I spent more time in the car than fossil hunting and that ruined the fun.
This game gets the rating of "recommended" from me, but only with a rather large asterisk. It has its fair share of glitches, baffling design choices, unintuitive menus and annoying achievements, which can be more than enough to scare away some players. But underneath them I did also found the game to be a lot of fun in a relaxing, slow-paced way. I could spend hours doing the fieldwork, just shoveling away tons of dirt to uncover new fossils from the ground! I guess it scratches the same itch as Powerwash Simulator does for some people. So if you are looking for games like that, I would give this one a try - but only if you can stomach games that aren't perfect from technical point of view.
Seems cool, but it says full controller support which it doesn’t have, and performance on my pc handhelds left a bit to be desired. Might buy it after it gets some much needed updates but currently I don’t recommend especially if your trying to play with a controller

Very peaceful game to play when you just want to relax. So far, i have only played it for 11hrs, but its fun and zoning out while excavating the rock and dirt. However it is a bit annoying having to grab empty crates form the hub every time you need them.
Por fin pude cumplir mi sueño de ser paleontóloga sin morir de hambre
I wanted to like this game but it was so tedious that it became boring. There are a lot of aspects that were really great and fun, but it was just too tedious.
Классный, расслабляющий симулятор, можно очень надолго залипнуть собирая все окаменелости и обставляя свой музей. Для больших скелетов хотелось бы наверное каких нибудь более мощных инструментов очистки, но возможно в реальности это происходит именно так.
