Let's Ride, whoever made is responsible for putting you on Steam, hear me out: PLEASE put more of the series on Steam. These games were so much of my childhood. I've bought a disc reader that adapts to my pc so I can play my old horse disc games from back in the day, but I can't find all of the games on eBay and not all of them work with Windows, so having some more adapted to Steam so I can play them today would bring me great joy. I know there must be others who feel the same. <3
It's so nostalgic.... I've thought about this game for almost 20 years and I can finally play it again. Just as jank and charming as I remembered...

It's a very janky old game. I had a lot of trouble getting it to run well on my pc. I had to play on a tiny little window that is smaller than the old square monitors from when I was a kid. It frequently froze every 2-20 minutes, then turned my whole screen black, and sometimes left the background black once the game started up again. It also would freeze if I clicked on any other window. But it's nostalgic, and only $5, and despite the issues it was worth the $5 to finally 100% the game. The gameplay loop is very stagnant and simple, with really the only difference is it getting harder (aka, you need to be faster) and slowly adding more trials to complete each competition. There is limited human and horse customization, but this is an old game. You don't unlock or buy more options for the player, but you DO unlock a LOT more options for the horse coat and a few more saddles.
Absolutly love this game! it has brought back some really good memories. I have been looking for this game for years and trying to figure out how I could get to play it again. I am so glad steam finally has it. I will say when you are starting the game the comtroles are a little clunky but I was able to fix it in the settings. when you start is has you using the arrow keys whih made it hard to play so but was able to change it to wasd and then it was so much easier. There were some other comtroles I also had to change. When you start you deffinetly are gonna want to change the contrles right away. other than that the game is exactly the way I remember. I haven't had any problems with crashing or any proformance issuses.
It's a worthy purchase for nostalgia or maybe for your young kids. It doesn't hold up too well against modern games, but for what it is and time it originally released, it was pretty decent. I have a lot of great memories playing this over 15 years ago borrowing my friends CD of it. Basically, don't expect anything amazing, but if you're like me and wanting to re-live a nostalgic childhood game, it's absolutely worth the 5 bucks!
I was so excited to be able to play this childhood game again! I adored this game growing up and it's really easy and relaxing to play. For such an old game, I think it holds up well for a horse riding/championship game and I still play it through every once in a while.
This game brings me back to my childhood! I can play it with a controller! I can finish it within a day of binge playing! It is within my price range as a single mom and my daughter who is 4 loves ride around also.
I played this game as a horse crazy little girl. I spent HOURS mastering all the courses and collecting all the horse colors I could ever dream of owning. Playing this game as an adult was such an amazing trip down memory lane. The graphics hold up surprisingly well for a game that is 20 years old. The overall gameplay is repetitive and can be boring in long spurts but I have 20 hours in this game and enjoyed every bit of it. If you're a horse girly (or guy) just buy this game and have fun with how great horse games used to be!
Fun game, glad it was put on Steam!
