I confess that at first I was scared, the immersion is very intense. The horror atmosphere and the chilling soundtrack help with this immersion. I'm used to games like this, however, with the very interesting story along with all these things I said, they made this game one of my favorites!

The game is terribly buggy. Sometimes, it'll randomly quit. Most manual saves are done at your own risk. *Escape from Zombie Tactics* THERE IS NO WAY TO KILL THE ZOMBIE!!!! That said, the best way to ESCAPE from it is by luring it to the warehouse up the stairs. Once it's up there with you, jump down and run like the wind out the gates and to the right. It'll stop being able to chase you for a time until it finds you again. **Truck Escape** need: gas can, pickup keys, bolt cutters, and wire hook. Go to the house truck. Place gas can in truck's side. Use wire hook on back of truck. Use pickup keys on truck. Teleport to boulders. Use bolt cutters on fence. The End. ***Helicopter Escape*** need: cabinet key, fuse. Go to house basement, use them. Go to house garage (inside house) and turn on radio. Run to warehouse. The End. ****Raft Escape**** need: 4 wooden logs, 1 wooden plank, 2 ropes, 1 sheet metal. Place items as you find them at red area near the river edge. Return to raft. The End.
Room 54 is an indie survival horror experience developed and published by 7Eagle that places players in the middle of a chilling mystery wrapped in isolation, grief, and supernatural terror. Set during the winter of 1984 in the remote town of Roseberg, the game follows Daniel, a man whose vacation takes a tragic turn when his wife, Desirée, disappears under mysterious circumstances. What begins as a desperate search for answers soon evolves into a far darker investigation involving unexplained deaths, missing townspeople, and an unknown creature stalking the surrounding wilderness. The narrative serves as the backbone of the experience, encouraging players to uncover hidden truths while navigating an increasingly hostile environment. One of the game's strongest qualities is its atmosphere. Rather than relying entirely on frequent jump scares, Room 54 builds tension through its lonely setting and unsettling sense of uncertainty. Snow-covered forests, deserted roads, and dimly lit interiors create a persistent feeling of vulnerability. The first-person perspective enhances immersion, making exploration feel personal and often nerve-racking. Every new location carries the possibility of discovering an important clue or encountering a new danger, which helps maintain suspense throughout much of the adventure. The gameplay revolves around exploration, investigation, and survival. Players are tasked with searching for evidence, solving environmental challenges, and piecing together fragments of the story to understand what happened in Roseberg. The game also incorporates stealth-oriented mechanics, forcing players to avoid threats instead of confronting them directly. This approach reinforces the survival horror theme and keeps encounters tense, as escaping danger often requires patience and awareness rather than brute force. The combination of mystery-solving and stealth creates a gameplay loop that rewards careful observation and curiosity. Storytelling is another area where Room 54 demonstrates ambition. The disappearance of Daniel's wife serves as the emotional foundation of the plot, but the narrative gradually expands into a larger mystery involving the town itself. As players uncover journals, clues, and hidden locations, they begin to learn more about the secrets lurking beneath Roseberg's quiet exterior. The game succeeds in creating intrigue and maintaining a sense of mystery, encouraging players to continue searching for answers even when the pacing occasionally slows. The unfolding narrative offers enough twists and unanswered questions to keep horror fans engaged from beginning to end. Visually, Room 54 delivers a respectable presentation for an independent project. The environments are detailed enough to support the eerie atmosphere, while lighting and weather effects contribute significantly to the overall mood. Dark corridors, shadowy forests, and winter storms work together to create a convincing sense of dread. Sound design also plays an important role, using ambient noises and unsettling audio cues to keep players uneasy. While the technical presentation may not rival larger-budget horror games, it effectively supports the game's core themes and helps elevate the experience. The game's biggest strengths lie in its immersive setting, intriguing mystery, and commitment to psychological tension. However, some rough edges prevent it from reaching its full potential. Certain gameplay mechanics can feel somewhat unpolished, and players may occasionally encounter pacing issues or interactions that lack refinement. These shortcomings are noticeable but generally do not overshadow the strengths of the overall experience. Those who appreciate indie horror titles often find that the atmosphere and story compensate for many of the game's technical limitations. Ultimately, Room 54 is a commendable survival horror adventure that combines investigation, exploration, and suspense into a compelling package. Its haunting winter setting, emotionally driven storyline, and mysterious supernatural elements create an engaging experience for players who enjoy narrative-focused horror games. While it may not reinvent the genre, it delivers enough tension, mystery, and atmosphere to stand out among independent horror releases. Fans of slower-paced psychological horror and investigative storytelling will likely find plenty to appreciate in this unsettling journey through the secrets of Roseberg. Rating: 6/10
I am a bit suspicious of some of the positive reviews, some of them seem to have an interest in getting the sales up, because they don't reflect reality. I could be nice and say it's a nice try for a first time attempt at making a really small game. The whole game is about finding some items on the ground and escape an incredibly small area. The problem is that even if it takes tops 2 minutes to cross the map, it feels like it goes on forever, because there is little sense of danger or atmosphere. All I did was find some logs and stuff in 4 buildings, and those items were automatically unloaded at a particular place, then when I had all the items, and had brought them to that place, the game ended, I had achieved 1 of the 3 endings. I can't be bothered to go through it all again just to find another escape, it wasn't that exciting the first time around, why another? I had hoped the game was more interesting and immersive when I bought it, but was a bit disappointed to be honest. The guys who made it may be nice guys, and the price is low, but I feel this was a waste of time.
Okay this game is fun. Scared me with Jump scares. Check it out!
Good atmosphere and the soundtrack is quite scary, contributing even more to it. A real masterpiece for those who like horror games like me. I'm waiting for new games from this developer!
Game Controls are perfect! I got really scared when playing this game , It reminds me a lot of Silent Hill. Controls 10! Ambience 10! I am really curious on what this developer will bring next! =)
