About
If you’ve played traditional football managers, you’re probably familiar with the following feelings:
Complex attributes: Footballers have many attributes, and you don’t always understand which ones truly affect the match outcome. Often, the only strategy becomes buying high-level players instead of finding a footballer whose unique attribute perfectly suits your tactics.
Unclear results: You never really know why you win or lose. This forces players to search for "winning" formations on forums instead of analysing the opponent and consciously selecting footballers capable of exploiting their weaknesses.
Financial complexity: Club funds quickly disappear, and it’s hard to understand how to manage finances and strategically plan expenditures.
Football, Tactics & Glory is a game about full control and a complete understanding of what’s happening on the pitch and in the club:
Transparency of attributes: You always know exactly how each footballer’s attribute impacts the encounters, allowing you to customise formations for each opponent, defeating even stronger teams with the right player selection and tactical approach. This also makes transfers much more interesting and exciting.
Control over tactics: Feel like a real coach, making smart tactical decisions, not just changing formations hoping for luck.
Control over luck: Luck plays a big role, as in real football. But you can minimise its impact by understanding your players’ abilities and building the team around your playstyle.
Strategic financial planning: The game’s economy is designed so that you always feel in control of your finances. The game demonstrates the importance of strategies like "developing" footballers for sale and finding promising talents who will become your future stars.
No micromanagement: This is a game about strategic planning, not micromanagement. Instead of wasting time on increasing an attribute by 0.01%, you make decisions that significantly affect the club’s fate. Therefore, the game lacks the boring elements of football managers: endless spreadsheets, routine tasks, and unimportant mechanics.
Great variety: FTG is so deep that even after hundreds of hours, you’ll continue discovering new and interesting things. The game world develops uniquely each time, creating new challenges and exciting emergent stories. This makes each campaign different from the last one.
The game values your time: You can complete one football season in a few real hours instead of days, as in other football managers. At the same time, each season is packed with events and interesting decisions.
Comprehensive tutorial: The game explains all elements in detail. And if you still have questions, the active community will answer them on the forum or Discord.
Good turn-based mechanics allow complex systems to be simplified, while retaining their essence and emotions. For example, XCOM perfectly conveys the feel of firefights with aliens, and Civilization — the development of a civilisation.
Our turn-based system uses key football concepts to make match outcomes and your tactical decisions clear and transparent. Once you understand how these mechanics work, you’ll feel the emotions inherent in real football.
Additionally, the ability to take your time with each move allows for comfortable gameplay. Especially if you’re over 40 and don’t have the reaction speed you once had.
Yes, it’s a serious football manager that’s easy to start playing due to its apparent simplicity, but hard to stop because of the depth of its features.
Take your club to the top: Start in the lower league and lead your club to the heights of world football. Or choose any club in the Premier League or another league of your choice.

Oh Football Tactics and Glory, how I love thee. When I was younger I would spend days and days on football management games - then I became a grown up and suddenly I didn't have those hours to spare. When I discovered FT&G I thought my prayers were answered - something with that similar sense of achievement but much less of a time-hog, something bitesize and suitable for short sessions around adult responsibilities. That was 1000 hours ago. I cannot think of a game that pound-for-pound has given me more value. The closest comparison I can think of is that moment in X:Com, you've one turn left, you need to kill the last alien, there's no obvious solution, then you think of some elaborate strategy, blow a hole in the wall for your sniper, and roll the dice on a kill-shot. Only instead of doming an alien to save the world, you're pulling off a diving header against Ipswich to secure the title in the last seconds of the season. On top of that the developers are highly engaged, responding to questions and feedback with remarkable frequency given their geographic situation, and the new DLC looks like a massive QoL update.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is so chill. A Football Manger vibe without all the trash and complications that FM games seem to always want to include. There is manageable depth if you want it but there is also chill if you want that. Turn based football is such a strange concept, but somehow it works, and works well. Would definitely recommend , my play time at over 600 hours, for me says a great game.
I really really tried as you can see from the played hours. I couldn't get up from the lowest division. There's no money to buy good players, there's no money to continue contracts. Only way to get money is to sell the good players. There's no way to train players which are not playing and they get too old very quickly.
Football, Tactics & Glory is an unconventional take on the football management genre, blending elements of strategy, turn-based tactics, and RPG-style progression into a unique package that stands apart from traditional simulation-focused titles like Football Manager. Developed by Creoteam and originally released in early access before its full launch on Steam, the game delivers a surprisingly deep and addictive experience that focuses less on realism and more on decision-making, player development, and tactical nuance. It’s a game that rewards foresight and clever play over raw statistics or micromanagement, appealing to both football fans and turn-based strategy enthusiasts alike. At its core, the game breaks down a football match into a turn-based system where each team has a limited number of actions per possession. Each player on the pitch can move, pass, shoot, tackle, or use class-specific abilities during their turn. Unlike traditional football sims that simulate matches in real-time or through abstracted outcomes, Football, Tactics & Glory places the match firmly under your control. You move players on a grid-based pitch, plan your passing sequences, and attempt to break through defenses in a manner that feels more like XCOM than FIFA. The thrill comes not from flashy animations or real-world licenses, but from pulling off a perfectly calculated sequence of moves that culminate in a goal. The tactical layer is exceptionally well-executed. Each player belongs to a class—Defender, Midfielder, Forward, and later more specialized subclasses like Winger, Sweeper, or Universal Midfielder—each with unique abilities and limitations. As players gain experience through matches, they level up and can specialize further, unlocking skill trees that add significant depth to your team-building decisions. This progression system is one of the game’s biggest strengths, creating a sense of attachment to your squad and giving you long-term goals as you shape your team into a cohesive unit. Every decision—from who to play in which position to what skills to develop—has a tangible effect on your success on the pitch. The career mode is robust and surprisingly engaging. You begin with a low-tier team full of underdeveloped players and slowly guide them through promotions, balancing short-term victories with long-term growth. You must manage finances, facilities, and the transfer market, though these aspects are streamlined and approachable compared to more complex sims. Scouting young talent, training your prospects, and choosing which aging veterans to sell or retire becomes a compelling game of resource management. The lack of real-life teams or player names, while potentially a turn-off for those seeking authenticity, ultimately allows the game to focus on pure gameplay rather than license-driven fan service. This abstraction doesn’t reduce the emotional stakes; in fact, building a team from obscurity to glory feels all the more personal when every success is a product of your tactical vision. Graphically, Football, Tactics & Glory opts for a clean, cartoonish visual style that prioritizes clarity and functionality over realism. Animations are simple but effective, and the UI is intuitive, providing all the information you need without overwhelming you with data. It’s easy to track player attributes, morale, and positioning, which is crucial given how important spatial awareness is to the game’s tactical layer. The soundtrack and sound effects are serviceable, if unremarkable, but they never distract from the core gameplay loop, which is where the real satisfaction lies. The AI in matches offers a solid challenge, particularly in the higher leagues where opponents begin to employ complex strategies and aggressive defensive formations. Learning to anticipate enemy moves, bait defenders, and exploit weaknesses becomes essential. Difficulty scales well over time, and the learning curve is gentle enough that new players can ease into the mechanics without feeling overwhelmed. However, mastery takes time, especially when facing opponents who can disrupt your strategies with well-placed tackles or unexpected plays. These moments of unpredictability add just enough tension and variability to keep matches exciting without feeling unfair. There are, however, areas where Football, Tactics & Glory shows its limitations. While the gameplay loop is highly addictive, repetition can set in after long play sessions, especially as the AI starts to fall into familiar patterns. The lack of narrative or dramatic flair—no news stories, no off-pitch scandals, no media pressure—means that career mode is more of a pure strategy sandbox than an immersive football world. Some players may miss the broader simulation elements found in games like Football Manager, where interactions with players, fans, and the board add layers of complexity. Additionally, while the turn-based matches are the highlight, they can become time-consuming, especially in longer campaigns, and there’s no option to simulate matches with much depth or control. Despite these shortcomings, Football, Tactics & Glory is a refreshing and innovative experience that manages to carve out its own niche in a crowded genre. Its clever combination of tactical decision-making, long-term progression, and addictive match mechanics makes it more than just a novelty—it’s a genuinely compelling strategy game in its own right. For players who love football but are looking for something different from the hyper-realistic management sims or fast-paced arcade action, this game offers a cerebral, rewarding alternative that respects your intelligence and creativity. It may not have the licenses or spectacle of bigger franchises, but what it lacks in glamour it more than makes up for in tactical satisfaction and strategic depth. Rating: 8/10
Gameplay's okay. I really hate that you have to buy other dlc's for the rest to work, it's a really bad practice. It crashes constantly, managed to sort it eventually but it's something the developers need to sort, not the paying customer. Noticed a few typos in the game too. lastly, the big elephant in the room, it clearly has a political bias. I play videogames to escape reality, I don't want politics shoved into my escapism.
最初のチュートリアルでゴールを決めると止まってしまう。 ファイルの整合性やキャッシュクリアなど幾つか試したけどダメだった。 内容評価ではなく、まともに動かなかった事で個人的にはおすすめしない。
The forcing me to do all of these "tests" to force the user tutorial info is horrible. Trying to guess whatever the devs want me to do step by step is extremely tedious and exhausting and takes the fun out of the game. Some of these tests are twice as long as the games themselves because I have to continuously guess what the dev wants me to do step by step, over and over again until I get it right, and it's start over from the beginning every time. Way to smack your users on the hand....well done.
