Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.71/day in the week to Sep 15 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

my save file got corrupter
The gameplay was boring and The Mimic was largely unthreatening Some of the visuals were very cool, but nothing that makes the game The story, while interesting, is only experienced through tapes and logs, which makes it a very boring game
I can't decide which element was scarier, the metal screeching sound that they use during jump scares or the persistent glitches in this mostly linear game. The characters are scarier in the trailer than in gameplay and the scariest element is moreso the loud sound it makes if they catch you. Full of fetch quests where you, as a cliche, have to venture back into areas where you know the mimic will be on patrol. The AI is really really dumb. Alien Isolation did the cat and mouse fetch quest 110% better with better AI, atmosphere, and more actual horror. 8 hour game plays like a 18 hour game because of all the stupid glitches. Glitches that are common in open world but very rare in linear games like this. Did you guys even try and have a BETA test team run this? Here's a quick list: - Visual glitches throughout on a 5080 and 16gb ram device. wtf? No amount of tweaked could stop the flashing artifacts or slow loading assets - Death glitches. During some chases I died for no reason (especially the ticketmaster scene). Its like there are death collisions programmed in but no visual cue to make it obvious to the player that they shouldn't go that way. It made that boss chase SUPER annoying. - Doorway glitches. Constant glitches preventing you from entering certain vent entries like its some collision issue that could be solved but they decided not to clearly. - Loading and crashing glitches. I have not had the pleasure of finishing the game because I was working on a puzzle and after dying, the game decided it didn't want to load in any more. I don't care enough to restart my save. Honestly I'm so annoyed I bought this game and tried to play it through. Wildly disappointed.
I know they are trying change game driection instead of sitting in office for whole gameplay.. but atleast make it good and hard because here gameplay is ♥♥♥♥.. mimic ai is..... how he spawns, how he works... i like that you trying to do games your way.... but do that games good and hard, because secret of the mimic is not hard at all its just... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wood gameplay besides the puzzles.
That song, Jackie's Box did more advertising for SOTM than ANYTHING Steel Wool did, Gameplay wise it's okay, little meh in places but it gets the job done, if you enjoy Poppy Playtime you'll love it. I don't know if I'm just older or what but I feel like it really doesn't have the spark that fnaf 1-4 did, also I hate the sci-fi lore, didn't like it in SL don't like it here, but it's an okay game I can't hate it.
