It feels more solid, likeable, and playable than the vast majority of indie games (including the ones that have raving praise). Fishing Vacation has you do 360 rotations on the dpad to reel in a catch. Now I'm angry that so many other games with a "fishing" "mini-game" failed to think of dpad rotation for a spinning reeling-in action. (Fishing Vacation possibly borrowed it from somewhere else, but all the fishing mini-games I've ever played were worse and less fun.) It even has a clear pleasant GUI animation indicator that explains that control action. A great input mechanic, and a great in-game animated explanation? These two points by themselves make this game better than almost every game on Steam.

What a fun, bite-sized fishing adventure! It definitely feels like you're playing an old Game Boy game and both the graphics as well as the sound design is charming in their own retro ways. I want MORE of this! :D
A short but good horror game that does not disappoint. Worth the small price.
A decent horror game, Fishing Vacation brings you on...well, a Fishing Vacation gone wrong. It's decently told, and a bit sparse, and very rough. Given this was originally a free game jam game - which is still officially available to download elsewhere - that's all understandable. But when you slap a hefty price tag for what you get, which here is controller support and a few, inconsequential additional cutscenes, it really sours the experience for me. Not worth paying for unless you strictly want to support the devs; instead, stick with the free game jam version. It's the same, but at no cost.
good
solid little horror experience
9/10 unexpected creepy levels, and 10/10 on play through to different endings. Incredibly simple and nostalgic in design and art work. Easy and fun mechanics for worm catching and fishing. Overall well done, simple, re-playable, and enjoyable without pressure. Definitely a game to remember.
This game is short and kind of silly but I had so much fun playing it. It just had all the right vibes
