KOTOR Reskinned as a Final Fantasy game and I am all here for it. Awesome story that is very reminiscent of OG SW trilogy, and the combat system feels like a Final Fantasied version of KOTOR. Love this game as a kid and it still really holds up. This was made following FF11's huge success and they took a lot from that game to make this feel very alive as well as create a massive world with very cozy vibes and awesome art style. This game was passed over at the time overshadowed by the PS3 release which is a real shame because it's an all time great.
What a fantastic game. If only Star Wars episode VII, VIII, and IX were this good. 9/10 (Docked a point because I hate respawning chests with a random mechanic)
Don't let my short playtime fool you. I've finished this game more times than I dare count, and no matter the platform, it remains one of the best RPGs out there.
This game is a little bit of headache for me. The story is good, but not my cup of tea. The gameplay is fine. The graphic is mid, I mean I know this is the remastered version of FFXII, but it's still not good in graphic requirement for me. Also, the game crash a lot. I tried all the tricked on Internet but it still crash unless I deletec manually NVIDIA cache files. Square Enix, would you be a good developer and fix this at least?
Love the overall games, bit different from your typical Final Fantasy game but it has it's own charm
Yeah, if you have a Nvidia graphics card, don't bother buying it. It's unplayable, and they won't refund you for the purchase.
Didn't want to believe other reviews about the crashing but it happened after my first session. Was able to follow a guide in the community hub that fixed it using a Nvidia tool to disable the shader cache but pretty dumb I had to do that to get it to start for me. Still a good game but port unacceptable.
