Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Among the best Final Fantasy games there is. Great music, amazing landscapes, probably the best of what the ATB system could evolve into, captivating world building, cool bosses and dungeons, and intuitive controls. On the opposite side, the eons are a bit better, but still not great, the game still requires quite some farming (like its predecessors) and I think is a cheap way to make a game last longer if abused of, which can easily happen in gaming unfortunately. Although some of it was fixed, it is still a reminder of an era when too many games needed guides so you could enjoy the whole content. Compared to its previous episode, the lack of extremely tear-jerking events might disappoint, sipping from how its characters were less emotionally involving, likely due to how more time is given to the events of the universe rather than to the characters themselves. It is extremely unfortunate that the next episode happening in this universe was not on the same console, when a second big game would have been a great and more deserving way of exploring and living in Ivalice. With that being said, those drawbacks shine due to how the rest of the game is awesome, I wanted more of it when I finished the story, I wish it were longer, and with a next episode in the same setting, at the same scale of a home console game, that game deserves recognition.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun game really enjoying
One of my favorite games. 8.5+/10 world, 8.5/10 characters. Basch might be my favorite character out of any video game or movie. I really like the gambit combat system. I am not a fan of the job system since I can never decide what to pick. I constantly wrestle between lore and what I should do generally speaking. If you don't care about lore and just play to optimize and don't care who does what then this won't be a problem for you. Solid game overall and one of the better Final Fantasy's out there. I'd say 6, 7, and 10 are better than 12. 9 and 13 are worse than 12.
the best game of every time
I'M CAPTAIN BASCH FON ROSENBURG OF DALMASCA! Great characters, clever writing, awesome world building. If political intrigue were a Final Fantasy game it would be this one. I really enjoyed the story of this game. This game can be a little confusing at times. I've been told it was designed to be played with a guide and there were definitely times where I had to look up what to do. The game gives you some gnarly puzzles, particularly for accessing certain Espers, satisfying some Hunts, and getting some of the rare creatures to spawn. The combat isn't very compelling unless you do all the optional content. Once you set up your Gambits the way you like them you can basically let the game play itself. The Quickening system has some sick animations but once you see them all you may come to dislike the fact that it's one of few features of the game that desperately needed a fast forward button but did not get one. The strongest part of the game for me were the Espers. Holy moly what unbelievable rizz! If you don't do anything else with this game just look up the finishers for all the Espers. The Esper fights are literally the most interesting fights in the game. For the four people using a single 5120x1440 monitor, this game natively supports that resolution with no issues. Unfortunately none of the level design takes good advantage of the screen space, not that I would necessarily expect it to.
Really enjoyed this one, the Gambits system reminded me of DA: Origins tactics. All in all the one complain that I have is that the last two dungeons completely broke the pace of the story. Also, while I do recommend this game, I feel that playing without tutorials/guides would be very tedious and annoying because most "clues" are pretty bad. The combat itself was very enjoyable, especially after I got 3x Ribbons but parts of the story while running multiple dungeon floors for no real reason could have been shorter. Compared to what FFs I finished so far, I would rate this lower than FF VII Crisis Core and FF XVI, and higher than FF VII Remake.
Jogo quebrado travou e não inicia mais de forma alguma tentei de tudo e nada!!
So, so, so FF One of the great parts of the series. Play it, even if it holds the usual annoyances (from my point of view): Pathetic ending that can be done after half of the game. Insane difficult fights aside of the the ending. Best gear is earned after the ending. etc. Go, get it!
