A great game to revisit

Very fun. Just not a fan of the game suffering from the green screen non-sense and crashing a few times.

[h1] I Rode Ze Shoopuff 10/10 [/h1] A good port of a classic game. 5th time I've actually owned this (2 x physical ps2 (including limited edition with music video), 1 x ps3, 1 x switch, Steam) and I have no regrets. Whilst departing from the formula that made me fall in love with the series (large, sprawling open worlds with WORLD MAP!), what is here is an emotive, engaging story of one man trying to find his way back home, and the friends and relationships he makes along the way. Fun gameplay, a fleshed out world, interesting locations and an unforgettable and emotive story await all those who enter. Some items such as graphics etc. are a product of their time, and some people hate on certain parts, but it was very much a product of its time and some segments (laughter scene) were supposed to be stilted and awkward, when viewed in context. [h2] Summary [/h2] [h3] Pros [/h3] - Memorable characters - Great music - Fleshed out world - Sticks with you long after playing - Plenty of optional content [h3] Cons [/h3] - [b]winning that blitzball match...[/b] - [b]learning the Jecht Shot and rewatching preceeding cutscenes on failure...[/b] - It'll make you ugly cry [h2] Final Verdict - 10/10 - MUST PLAY [/h2] Whilst I do look at this through nostalgic eyes, I think even coming across this game for the first time now, I could really appreciate it for what it is. It still holds up well, doesn't feel particularly dated and I consider this only second to FF9. At least I know what the story is! I completed FFXII and had absolutely no clue what the plot was.

(I Prefer steams Pixelated looking characters since making this game too realistic was awkward and besides this is also more true to the PS2 days where it all began) This is the Most long Term way I can play this Game without buying it again or having to start over without my data. Which is especially great for the al bhed primer hunters. ::There is no skip button still:: ::Animations are just a tad faster and it does make a difference:: ::AUTOSAVE "What a God Send" ::The Game is In Japanese by default so you have to fix that in menu at settings:: ::I can't get into the menu with out my using keyboard then my controller works after selecting a game:: FFX-2 ---------- This is ATB system and faster paced You level up with the Dress sphere system. I consider this the last of the old days before the battle system really changed. This is a controversial sequel to many fans. It isn't my favorite game but I revisit it from time to time. There are 20 major side quests and I just choose what i like and mostly stick to the main story. I have played FFX-2 on {PS2,PS3,PS4} On Nintendo switch they want you to pay for the X-2 Via DLC and there was technically no physical copy. Steam is my forever storage place now as PS4 is losing support and gaming is getting so pricey. I chose to build a rig and get on steam so i don't have to keep paying for the same games over again. If the newer games aren't supported on my device then i can still play what it can handle for now instead of always getting bullies for that new expensive console. Imagine steam is like a software console for me and my external media is my games that i can take anywhere with me. As long as i Log into my own account on other devices. Xbox controller works and I have readjusted to the steam input overlay system. Which means my action button moved. I like making it work on pc because I need my workspaces and browser for help and stats. It also is nice to use your email on the same device when you need to log into steam.

This is one of the best stories in gaming ever attached with a top 5 ending in fiction that had me in tears. I will never get over this game and how great it was for its time. My one issue was just my plain stupidity because I didnt know how the leveling system worked for the first part of the game but then i caught on, but besides my stupidity, 10/10 game i would recommend to any of my friends

Masterpiece. Probably the best in the series and one of the greatest, if not the greatest JRPG of all time

[h2] Final Fantasy X — A Timeless Masterpiece Burdened by Mechanics [/h2] This was my first completed Final Fantasy out of many attempts, and I completely understand why it's considered a masterpiece; the story, turn-based combat, and world hold up beautifully to modern standards. However, without nostalgia, the frequent random encounters, outdated voice acting, and lack of quality-of-life features show its age. The optional endgame grinding is fantastic, but the main story forces you to respect its leveling—if you skip regular map fights, your playthrough will accidentally turn into a brutal [b]challenge run[/b]. If this game ever gets a proper modern remake, it will undoubtedly be hailed as a masterpiece all over again. [h3]Score: 4.0/5 [/h3]
