I came for Terra's theme; story is so so by today's standard. Battle system is quite unique with all these status effects, but the game is easy enough you can just spam the same skill 99% of the time. Terra, Celes, Relm are my favorites. Celes alone deserve a remake
I really wish this game would've gotten the DS remake treatment like IV and III. Truly an amazing game with an awesome story, top notch music, and a pretty lovable cast (even if it is huge). It's one of the GOATs for a reason.

A great retro JRPG with solid story and characters. Combat can feel a bit clunky at times but the narrative more than makes up for it.
Great game with great story and also the comabt is pretty fun even though it is made in the 90s(nothing personal against old games)
First time playing though the game, overall pretty good port and I love the QoL added. Going in I thought the combat would be dull or not super engaging but using Blitz and all of the character's unique aspects was really fun. The esper system being able to grind out and give magic to all characters also added a lot to how I played the game. The characters (except for the secret ones) get time to shine and all have little quests and unnamed things you can do to delve into their character more. I really loved Celes, Terra, Locke and the twins. They were my main characters and had the most interesting stories imo. Not to speak of Kefka who also stole the show and was a DEVASTATING antagonist. Overall I'd say it was an 8/10. I can really see how this blew minds on the SNES and it had a TON of stuff that really impressed me.
I'm gonna be biased about this game, but its one of my all time favorite jrpgs. Amazing story, great battle mechanics and love how they've intertwined such a large cast of playable characters into this story. Square really perfected what was tried and tested from ff1 to 5 and pulled out all the stops. Hope Square brings turn based back to the final fantasy series.
Played FF6 30 years ago. Still a great classic in this era. Enjoyed it so much. Recommend to new gamers and old FF fans.
