Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Same day: best CA #52, worst AU #95 · 3 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.
⚔️ The Deepest Tactics Game Ever Made ★★★★★
Final Fantasy Tactics doesn't just ask you to play it, it asks you to think. Between the job system that rewards experimentation, the brutally satisfying grid combat, and a political story darker than most M-rated games dare to go, this is the JRPG that ruined every other tactics game for me. Ramza Beoulve is the most underrated protagonist in the entire FF universe. Fight me. The learning curve is a wall, not a slope, but push through it and you'll find one of the most rewarding strategy experiences ever crafted. Every battle feels like solving a puzzle you designed yourself. Bottom line : If you love Turn-Based Tactical RPG and haven't played this, you're missing a piece of your soul.
At times it can be boring, even frustrating. The gameplay and the story won't truly reach their peak until the player invests themselves in it. But what's on the other side of that hump is a game that deserves it's reputation. Tactics is every bit the masterpiece people say. In some regards it's still unrivalled all these years later.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a great game but you definitely need to have some patience at the beginning with it. Once you start leveling up and purchasing better armor and weapons it starts getting really fun and it grows on you. I suggest taking your time and exploring everything such as the job and zodiac systems as those will help you out a lot. The story and lore is also really interesting. I just started learning more about the world by reading about the characters and locations and I find it really fun and not too overwhelming. The taverns also have rumors for you to read which is a nice little touch. I have not finished the game yet but wanted to write a review - in case my opinion changes I will update this.
Maybe the best Final Fantasy game Definitely a great story and one of the best voice overs of any game EVER to support it Combat is fun and challenging, all while the game respects your time with many QoL features that just feel good The job system is absolutely awesome
graphics sucks, i thought this was remade with better quality graphics.. but it same as old version... game play is very slow, like action of attack or spell cast, or counter move,, all very slow turtle speed... there no options to not show exp/jp gain.. so when u tryin to speed up game play,, these exp/jp popin up every move sucks. all in all, play the old Wotl version.. dont spend money on a this.. it not even any better.. only thing diff is the voice action with all the characters..
for those who played this game in their childhood, don't think twice, buy this game and relive your childhood
Huge quality of life improvements over the original, along with a significantly better translation. One of my favorite games from my childhood, just as enjoyable as it was almost 30 years ago now. Still an amazing story.
I never played the original or War of the Lions, so I'm reviewing this strictly as a game, on its own merits, without nostalgia. And on that basis, the game is just plain bad. The job system is atrocious, with multiple trash jobs (Dragoon, Thief) that are not at all combat viable and exist purely to unlock one or two good passives and then never spec into that job again. There's a whole rideable-beast subsystem, but beasts like chocobo are competent combatants on their own, and riding them deactivates them completely as units in exchange for giving the rider a minor mobility boost. From an action economy or damage-output viewpoint this is an incredibly bad deal. There's an 'errand' subsystem where you send out your soldiers on jobs and they are away for a huge amount of time, 10 to 14 days, and return with a genuinely insulting amount of money, enough JP ("Job points," a class-specific experience) to get 10-20% of the way towards unlocking an ability (the good abilities cost 500-3000 JP and your typical errand nets 120-130 JP), and *zero* XP so their core stats haven't scaled at all. Oh and sometimes they bring back an insultingly jank 'rare item'. As with the rideable chocobos, it's a subsystem where the objectively right call is to never engage with it at all. The entire job system is predicated on grind, because for story missions you need to bring people with unlocked strong abilities, which cost JP , which you get through fights. So be ready to run the same random encounter maps over and over again until you have enough JP for the good abilities, or until your level in the bad weak job is high enough to unlock the actual non-trash jobs. Then of course once you unlock the non-trash job you have to grind up the JP for that separately. The storyline itself is decent, competent to quite good in spots. The visuals are strong, the music is actually pretty good. It's just that none of that is worth fighting through the actual mechanics.
Am a huge fan of Triangle Strategy, Octopath Traveller and also just completed The Advantages of Elliot, but I can't stand this game at all. This is a great game from the 90s, but it's now 2026 already. The first few hours were a grinding hell, enemies are often more powerful with a bigger amount than your team even the difficulty setting is just normal. Each level takes long because the opponent AI heals a lot and runaway from your attacker during the grind. And most levels and points after the long grind wouldn't be helpful at mid to late game. Control and UI are not user friendly, you have to wait until your turn if you want to pause the game or open the menu; Instructions and tutorials are not clear, you might need to spend some minutes to figure out how to turn off the auto battle; Story is meh, but some stories are unskippable. There is no point in buying this game unless you are into the FF series and want to learn all the background in the universe. If you just want a nice game to play, Triangle Strategy is a better game for a cheaper price.
