[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2[/h1] This just isn't a good game. I'm not sure if this was a student project or a solo dev learning how to use Unity in VR. However, it's just lacking in so many aspects. The combat, movement, and interactions are just too basic to recommend this. You have an option of high or low graphics, but they were just two different versions of an ugly looking game. The only positives I have to say for this game is that half-elven female warriors 3D models looked pretty good. Also, there was a save system. You have full locomotion and teleportation options as well as smooth turning. So that's all the positives I can think of. Everything else was bad. Bad animations, plain visuals, limited areas to move in, pathing issues, combat is just moving backwards and waiting for your weapon's cooldown so you can actually attack. I went to level 8 and only saw the one enemy. I just got too bored and decided to quit. Not really worth the free download ... unless you're curious about student VR projects or my first time VR Unity projects. [b]Rate 2.5/10.[/b]

Fight For Eden is a free indie VR sword and shield game that was very crude. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. The voiceovers are done from text to speech program. Has a tutorial. I guess the 1 person developer done their best and they are still working on it. This program says only Oculus Rift, but i guess it worked ok with my HTC Vive and Index. You can use sword and shield or bow and arrow. The game was released in Dec. 2020. Need more work. The enemy character models were different Elvish women in fantasy garb but there was a few men. The combat was not difficult. Try this game, maybe later

It is a beginning game, but I think it will be quite fun in the end. For me, the points that need to be worked on the most are the voice acting and the signposting. In most cases, I don't know where to go because the maps are so big and blurry. Occasionally there is a green arrow, which is very handy. For now, I rate this game a 5/10.

Pros: It's free, so it won't cost you anything but time and bandwidth The running animation for the one enemy model you encounter has boob physics, so at least while you're backing up and waiting for your weapon to not be incorporeal, you have something to look at. Cons: Voices are all poorly computer generated (There are free TTS sites that are significantly more convincing) Only one enemy model during the entire 30 minutes of gameplay I experienced (Purple-haired elven woman w/ sword and shield) Orc thongs (unless that's your thing)

I was impressed by how incredibly bad this game was. This isn't only a bad vr game. This was an absolute vr mess. The world building is something i can cry about but thats not the worst. The story telling in this game is perhaps the most Non creative way of story telling. Texts pops up, google translate voices talk. And thats it. Thats all the storytelling present in this game. The character animations are clunky, and so are all the mechanics. The bow was perhaps the only weapon that felt closer to being "Decent" in this game. All objects are weightless. They pass through everything, and physics are non existing exept for Boobs. Yes people. Boobs are the only physics based things in this game. Allthough this was an absolute mess. I did have a good time trying to play it with a friend. It made us lose our ♥♥♥♥ about absolute crap, and i did have a good time. As a young game developer myself i appreciate all vr games. But this one is terribly unique. It even get a special place within my heart because i will never forget this one. So, in short. When you wanna have a terrible (but fun) time in a free vr game. This is a good one And the excuse for it being "Free" i dont really take. There are a ton of truly impressive free vr games out there. But this isn't one of them
