Fight your way through Sanctus and Malum, the Realms of the Afterlife. Simultaneously play as the Mage and the Warrior, split from a soul torn between the two worlds, as you attempt to relink your soul back together and escape death.
In this Hack and Slash ARPG, you grow stronger as you gain new abilities during your journey, with unique ability sets between the two characters you play as. You must make use of all your abilities to match elements to what enemies are vulnerable to.

Puzzle Combat: Match colored elemental attacks to the enemies' stacks of hearts to be able to damage them, requiring the deliberate use of abilities between both the Mage and Warrior.
Satisfying Fast-Paced Action: You must be agile and decisive in how you approach combat to effectively cut through the defenders of the afterlife!
Two Worlds At Once: Instantly and seamlessly swap between Sanctus and Malum, inverse worlds of each other, as you fight the variety of unique enemies within each. Discover hidden combat encounters and upgrades on your journey!
Customizable Controls: Every ability can be bound to any key/button on your ability hotbar, and can be rebound to let you play with any control scheme to best fit you! There is also full parity between Mouse and Keyboard and Controller. (Game plays best with Controller)
Adaptive Original Soundtrack: Listen to unique tracks that respond to your gameplay, with music seamlessly blending to different themes between Sanctus and Malum.
Will you face your judgement and destroy those that stand in your path to escape the Afterlife, or will your soul be severed and your fate lost forever?

Rough around the edges, but I enjoyed my time playing through this overall. It's a super neat concept - you have to switch between 2 different characters (which also changes world aesthetics) to defeat enemies as you cast different abilities depending on which of the 2 you play. Unfortunately there are lots of miscellaneous bugs that drag down this fascinating project. My top priorities if I were the developer: - Improve performance and reduce overall stutter (wasn't that big an issue on my computer) - Fix missing walls that cause player character to fall into the void (this was really frustrating!) - Achievements are bugged, I did not receive a single one in my playthrough - Maybe make the colors for enemy elements slightly brighter or stand out more, as a colorblind person I found them slightly hard to distinguish I do appreciate the game though, I found the challenges refreshing and the graphics style pleasing to the eye! There isn't much I would change other than the suggestions above. Keep up the good work!

The graphics are simple, yet somehow the game still manages to freeze constantly — even on an RTX 2070 Super. There’s no smoothness at all. Instead, you get bugs. To make things worse, there’s no save system. Every time you launch the game, it starts from the exact same spot, with the same map, and from the very beginning. I couldn’t even play for five minutes due to the constant freezing and glitches.
Keep an eye on this team y'all
The game was unplayable due to the very low frame rate. It does not seem to be justified by the quality of the graphics. I tried to change the options to fix that, but there are no options at all! The simultaneous play gimmick looked interesting from the description, but when I got the power to switch to the other side, it did not actually seem to be that interesting. Might try again if the developers fix the framerate issue and other issues reported in the few existing reviews.
Very fun concept of switching between characters and using their abilities together to defeat enemies. Short and sweet game and I am excited to play more.
I know this game is a student game project but it is not optimised and doesn't seem to want to run smoothly.
