Feels like a cheap flash game.
This is a great platforming game with harmless digital cookies.
Хорошая игра!
I remember playing the original game Fenix Box on my phone it was a really fun experience, i got pretty far in it, dont remember exactly though. Finding out that they made a second game was really cool I got it right away. I'm stuck in the last area in this game, but I'm not frustrated. I'm actually having alot of fun. I don't feel like comparing this game to Super Meat Boy is fair. I'm not gonna lie SMB was objectively better but if you only look at this game looking for the exact SMB experience, you're not gonna fully get it.

Genre: -Precision Platformer Genre: -My fav genre so perfect! Pros: -Excellent difficulty curve that builds up your confidence and pushes you to improve -Very simple mechanics of jumping and dashing makes it easy to learn -Implementation of interesting environmental hazards and mechanics -Collectible cookies make each level more difficult and is a nice option for veterans of the genre -Boss battles were pretty solid and made sense given the overall mechanics of the game -Very consistent theme and aesthetic that fit the game well -Soundtrack was simple but worked well -On sale all the time and easy to find for just a couple of bucks Cons: -Very limited enemies types and enemy mechanics. Most of the enemies either move horizontally or vertically a certain distance. Re-skinned enemies in later levels w/ different colors was a letdown. -Very limited scope and overall variety. I think the devs could have been a bit more creative on finding new ways to challenge the player w/ more variety. -The alligator enemies felt unfair at times b/c the best way to escape them was to mash the dash and jump button as fast as possible. That doesn't feel very skill based. -Limited replayability beyond the collectibles and speedrunning options. -Very challenging game may be frustrating for less experienced players. Thoughts: -I wasn't expecting much from this but enjoyed more than I was expecting. I had a really good time the first 2 hours but hit a wall near hour 3 as it started to feel quite repetitive. Consensus: -Middle of the Road Game (Tier 4 and makes up 25% of my reviews). This one just makes my recommend list as I think it's worth playing if you can get it for under $5.
