Spark the Electric Jester

[h1]Um curioso híbrido de Sonic com outros clássicos dos anos 90[/h1] Spark tenta misturar elementos de Sonic com vários outros jogos de plataforma da década de 90. O resultado é um jogo bastante peculiar. A história aposta em um humor que, para mim, simplesmente não funcionou. Em alguns momentos eu me diverti mais imaginando como alguém aprovou aquele roteiro do que acompanhando o próprio enredo. As fases também são um tanto estranhas, mas, para ser justo, já joguei Sonics com level design ainda mais excêntrico. [b]Não é um grande jogo, mas quem gosta de plataformas retrô curiosas pode acabar encontrando algum valor nele.[/b]

Gameplay fluida, Historia boba mais os momentos de anime valem apena, art style unico e um sonho pra quem é fã de Sonic do Mega drive ou o Mania, mas cuidado com alguns bugs nem tudo é perfeito.

FYI for anyone who has problems with (or those who reviewed about) the game crashing on pausing, it seems that it's related to software that can capture the screen (I.E. Discord, OBS, etc.). TURN THOSE OFF BEFORE YOU BOOT UP THE GAME. I don't know if it's safe to start them up after, but it's not unplayable. Another note for some people who said you can't turn off the double-tap to dash, you can. It is literally an option to toggle in the settings menu. It just happens to be on by default. Otherwise yeah IMO it's a pretty good game! Probably not on the quality level as something like Freedom Planet, but definitely worth the price. Plus it has a lot of charm between the cutscenes and dialogue. Some of the abilities could be a bit more in-depth, and in some levels it's difficult to find alternatives. Although in some ways I enjoy working around the jank that comes with it, but to each their own.

Literally one of the best 2d platformers I've EVER played in my life.
