About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Great potential
I love it! for the atmosphere, in-depth RPG mechanics and amazing graphics! Right now its a tech-demo, but i love the skyrim/LOTR style amazing world, and only wish it could be a open world. But that's of course not what a 13 man studio should aim for, so i hope they succeed and can expand the universe in future games. All the missing things like controller support and so on will be added later im sure, so im just exited to see what this game becomes.

Unfortunately, the base game currently only offers about 2–3 hours of content. That said, it is an excellent game and is quite literally the best potential successor to Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. The game does have some issues; it is somewhat poorly optimized, which is to be expected for an early access title built on Unreal Engine 5. The telegraphing for some bosses feels inconsistent, and certain areas of the map feature questionable level design. Additionally, the spells require further balancing to ensure that all of them are viable for a wider variety of character builds. Overall, it is a great early access experience, good gameplay, great mechanics, and good characters, i'm invested in this even though it feels more like a demo than an earlier acess, it certainly left me wanting more, and given the price I paid, it was a reasonable investment for a game that will likely cost four times as much upon its full release.
Played through the entire early access gameplay in about 3 hours. It was so much fun! It is a beautiful looking game with really fun combos between the spells and weapons (my favourite is a telekinesis pull followed up with a heavy sword hehehe). I am really looking forward to where this game goes and what the amazing devs at paraglacial take this!
Finished in 2 hours at slow pace, not bad for early access..
clunky as hell
The must stunning and beautiful game I've ever played. No game has ever immersed me graphically like this game. Of course they still have a lot to go until its finished but its just beautiful game.
Hello! So first off, I do not have much time in FateKeeper. I bought and installed Fatekeeper because I was having issues with my games. I wanted a newer game that demanded alot from my system. I wanted to push the limits and test things. With that in mind I did what I did. I have an intel i7 14700k Gigabyte MB, with a geforce RTX 4070 ti super. Not the pinnacle of gaming, but I believe I did my homework and found a prebuilt system at what I considered a good price for what I got. I have been playing with the settings. Honestly, I found somethings a bit annoying. There are alot of games out there, alot of different systems and I have a vague understanding of what it is to make something that can be adopted by different systems set ups. Its also important to note I have little patience for excuses. If your going to build something and you tell people it will work under certain conditions, well it should do exactly that. I have games that crash fairly regularly that ran stabily under a much older system. WHich brings us full circle. I bought this game to push things. In only a 1/4 hour I can honestly tell you under the most advanced graphic settings it runs fine. Very Stabile. DLSS and HDR and well everything enabled and maxed and it runs fine. More than that, this is literllly the most beautiful game I have ever seen. I did something similar with Pandora. And do not get me wrong, that game is beautiful too and runs well, but its not like this. This game is both beautiful and still retains that dirt, that aspect that does not sanitze too much what reality looks like. Its not to vibrant, its not too clean, it is exactly right and pulls you in. It works for me, when I experience issues with games I absolutely should not. It looks better than any game I have ever played at any settings. As I play through I only hope the rest of the game holds up to this incredible standard. IF not, I will still respect this game. If I do not truly enjoy the game play I expect that will be a me thing. Just not a good fit for me.
Overall an unremarkable experience, while there is a form of a story and lore, it rarely felt like the purpose of the game. it feels like an unreal engine technical demo rather than a video game. finally, to be completely honest, these are just assets ripped straight from the unreal market place, it honestly doesn't feel like this game was made by programmers or even artists, there's a distinct lack of soul and actual gameplay.
